I purchased this product because it says hypoallergenic and all the sudden my face was itchy and woke up with my face swollen. I looked at all ingredients and there are some you cannot pronounce. This product it’s not natural, it’s not good for your skin

This particular product is NOT hypoallergenic. Have broken out into a rash on my cheek bones with burning and itching around my eyes and mouth since using. Made sure it was this foundation that was the cause by elimination. Waited 3 weeks and tried again. Same issue. It is most likely the Niacinamide that is causing the issue, but not certain. If you have allergies and sensitivities', do NOT use this product. Have used Almay for years and will continue, just not with this particular product.

Smooth Natural Coverage
I have always had the worst experience with foundation, it either looked caked on, caused more wrinkles, clogged my pores and never blended with skin tone. I have tried over 30 different brands over my lifetime and always bought the most expensive brands. I stumbled across this brand while doing make up for a documentary and I needed to find smoother natural coverage. I tried it on myself first and I haven’t used anything else since. That was 3 years ago. Bravo to almay!

Terrible foundation
could not find the liquid Almay foundation I used to use. after trying to decide I picked this one, big mistake. It does not go on smooth, did not blend in with my skin. Do not care for the smell. I actually looked worse than I did without any makeup. My skin was splotchy and I have rosacea so it made red places and I had dark places too where the makeup did not blend in.

The first few times wearing this I did not like the product. Then I changed the moisturizer I wore underneath and warm the product on my finger tips quickly first and the color match went from not so good to perfect!! I love this product now-

Changed Formula
I’m not sure what happened with this. I was using the light medium shade and it was perfect for my skin. My makeup was looking the best it’s ever looked. Bought the same exact shade I’ve been using and it was ORANGE! Looked like someone spray tanned my face only. It also has nowhere near the coverage it had before and is very patchy. Have to throw away now and won’t be buying again.

Way too orange!
I bought the light and love the concept. But it is way too orange once applied. So bad that I couldn’t wear it one time and had to throw away a brand new tube. If this can be worked out this is a great concept.

Horrible for cool tones
I have neutral /cool skin. Usually I can pull either. And very light. I got this in their light version and it did not tone match well at all. It turned very orange and was unwearable for me. I can see it working for someone with warm toned skin, and even then they may not need bronzer. I will be returning ASAP. Not impressed.

Even though the package says this is fragrance free, it has a terrible smell. I was hoping the smell would go away after it dried on my skin, but it did not. I had to wash my face to get rid of the smell. Gross.

Love the consistency, don’t love the color. I got the color “light” and it is still too dark when I’m self tanned. I guess I could try the lightest color but I can’t imagine it being a big enough difference from light.

I bought the fair to medium and it is way too yellow/orange for my skin tone. I might try the just the fair. The first time it went on too dry, so I put on the second time while my moisturizer was still wet and it did better. I hope the the fair matches better.

Why tiny black flecks?
I dearly love this foundation and have been using it for years but with the last couple of tubes there are tiny black flecks all over my face after applying. I've tried shaking the tube prior to application but that doesn't seem to help. What is causing this?
