Read, people! Close eyes, apply on dry skin, rub a little, rinse, then wash face with cleanser...
People really need to read directions better. I love this cleanser and am repurchasing it because it works great at dissolving ALL the eye makeup you can think of. But it starts with DRY skin (it’s a jelly-like consistency and will glide over all of the mascara and eyeliner without tugging). Let it sit on the eyes while GENTLY rubbing and in about 1 minute, rinse with water and then follow with a cleanser of your choice for your double cleanse and voila! Clean as a whistle! Waterproof or not, this will break it down quickly. Dry application first, rub a little, rinse, then wash again with cleanser. Easy! READ DIRECTIONS!!

Doesn't actually clean. I wear waterproof mascara every day, this doesn't wash it off. I washed my face then used a toner afterwards and the cotton round was very dirty. You might as well use coconut oil to remove your make up, wipe it off with paper towel THEN wash face with bar soap.

Read the directions and follow them
I love it!! Use it on dry skin like the directions say. It removes my thrive mascara every time. I do let it sit and dissolve the makeup for a bit before wiping it off with a makeup remover cloth (no water). My tinted sunscreen and any additional makeup comes off easier. I wash my face as step two if I need to.

Works great on eye makeup
This worked fantastic for me! I just ordered several more. My mascara came off with ease even though it’s 24 hr water resistant mascara. I used it like a normal face cleanser, getting my face damp then smearing some of this on my closed eyes, and rubbing gently. Did the same for the rest of my face. Rinsed off and no makeup left! Perfect!

Not a regular cleanser used with water people!!
Great stuff!! Does what it needs to removed my make up this is suppose to be used on dry skin and then use a cleanser after i think all these bad reviews are from people not reading🤷🏽♀️this shouldn’t be used as a regular cleanser lol!! I put this on before my shower melts my make up and then i use my cleaner in the shower and use toner after and face is fresh and clean!!

Great for a quick, late night wash over the sink. But it definitely does not take off mascara. It just smudged it all over my face and I had to keep wiping and reapplying more cleanser. So I use this with my other Neutrogena eye make up remover. Still to this day, nothing has ever beaten Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover! I have used it for years and recommended it to so many people. It's gentle and actually takes off even water-proof mascara jsut like it says.

Really IS quite awful
Does not remove make up. It makes an oily mask out of my mascara and it very hard to remove after using this product. Not to mention it's not a "jelly" at all. It's milky and liquid. Totally misleading, awful product.

This makeup remove did not remove makeup well and it burned in my eyes like no other product I’ve ever tried. Even when trying to use the least amount possible on a cotton pad, it was very uncomfortable and even painful. Do not recommend.

AWFUL!!!!!
Absolutely horrible. My skin broke out in tiny bumps and I have a rash around my mouth and on my chin. This is the only new thing I added. Get the Versed makeup remover instead!
