Chemical smell
Cutting board was splintered under the packaging it came in. Also has a very strong smell no matter how many times we wash them, like burning chemicals, definitely going to have to throw them away.

Not for cooking!
I never write reviews but I had to. These are so cute, and I was so excited for nee cutting boards. But within weeks of having them, all of their coating had come off, my knives are already cutting the wood, they are easily stained, and one is cracking. I got what I paid for… cheap boards. Only buy if you want them to display. Not meant for cooking.

Worst ever!
Sad waste of money! I bought it as a “safer” alternative to plastic! Wood cuts with a single use! Did not soak, and wood has dried out, scratched, and SPLINTERED! I have used some mineral oil to protect and prevent drying. May as well have kept the plastic!

Would not recommend for the use of a cutting board. I think this was made for just a look. After one use of using it it looked like I have used it for more than one year. It looks all cut up every cut shows right on the board. After a week of using it, it already has a crack in the wood, and it has never been dropped. It’s from washing it. Please save your money and don’t waste your time on buying this cheap cutting board unless you’re using it just for style on your counter or to serve food.

My package was delivered in large box that was much to big for the product I bought! The packaging was damaged and it is a gift so will seem as if we didn’t care! I’m hoping the boards are not damaged as it didn’t open further as I would not be able to put it back together. And no I did not have time to return for another one.
