Tripp Lite Protect It!® 12-Outlet Surge Protector

Purchased this product after a perceived problem with a cable box which forced me to look at the very obsolete and probably inadequate surge protector that I had. This one is awesome with the provisions for wider plugs and a total of 12 capacity. Some people mention that it was hard to plug things in. That is a non issue, you want it be somewhat stiff to insert plugs--they don't fall out. All in all, very happy with purchase and a review of the specifications convinced me that it would certainly protect all the stuff plugged into it.

Love the design of the Tripplite 12-outlet surge protector. Finally, a design that makes sense and accommodates the fat plug hogs of some electronics. Now I'm able to line up the fat plugs on one side of the protector and the other slimmer plugs on the other side. And no wasted plugs! In addition, the guaranteed monetary protection is like icing on the cake. Purchase this product and you'll love it as well!

I like the surge protector it works very well

We live in a high lightning activity area. The Tripplite surge protector offers a sense of security during storms to our costly electronics.

This surge protector has worked perfectly for me for the past two years. I just recently bought a second one since I appreciate the quality of the product and trust this brand. I really like the port covers since I don't use every port. It can also be difficult to plug things at first, but it definitely gets better over time.

I use it to protect my PC and related equipment: monitor, external hard drives, printer, speaker, etc. It took the place of a Tripp Lite 6 plug wall outlet expansion unit and a separate power strip. This is more convenient and works great for my power adaptors.

This 12 Outlet surge protector gives me all the outlets I need to run my office computer, hard drives and printers. With todays investments in computer equipment, Tripp Lite's life time warranty gives me the peace of mind of complete protection in the years to come.

I use this product to power my cable box, television and vacuum cleaner. It was delivered in a timely manner and I have had no issues with it whatsoever. Thanks for a good product and keep up the good work.

Since I just recently received this, I'm rating this product based on previous and similar TrippLite products I have owned. I had a surge protector from TrippLite that recently blew out from a power surge. This one was about 40 years old so I opened up the case to examine it before installing it. After all that time it was in pristine condition. The power surge completely blew it out - it looked like a bomb had gone off inside. But all equipment attached was protected. Hopefully TrippLite still makes them the way they used to.

Use it for router and switch. Wish it had an arrest or for network cable. Not many using cable for tv or telephone jacks. Need a network in and out jack and a cable modem jacks.

We love them we had the brand before so when it was time to get new ones this was the only company that came to mind. We purchased 8 that's how much we love the product.

It was very simple to figure out and it accommodated all my plugs very nicely! I love the warranty!

I use the product to consolidate all the devices associated with my desktop, modem, router, printers, etc. Here is a picture of my application.

The case: Bought it hoping to plug in computer and several peripherals with large, full sized plugs. Check! Cord long enough to plug where I wanted, place the unit where I needed. Tailored fit!! Best for last…. Thunder storm, power hiccuped twice, didn't lose any of my stuff. Verdict: YEP!!!

Haven't had any power surges as of yet but I'm sure if and when one happens I'm confident my devices will be protected. Plugged into it are my 65 inch 4K smart TV, cable box, Bose sound system, DVD player among other items. My Tripp Lite surge protector is well made and highly rated. Makes me secure in the knowledge that my devices will be safe and protected!

Hoping this works as I'm writing the review before any surges. It is really quite nice that the device has lights that show it is protecting and that it is properly grounded. Unfortunately instead of the universal green means good, the led for the ground is "good" is red as though it is a warning that it isn't working. Keeping the instructions around for the forever warranty is not likely, and there is nothing printed on the device to remind the user of the meaning of the lights.

As critical as a surge protector is - in saving your valuable information and saving unnecessary expenses - they are expensive. So, when you make a purchase you count on it to work. Mine does! Thank you It was easy to set up and has enough options to serve my computer and printer needs as well as additional and occasional outlet needs. Hopefully I won't have to test its strength during Colorado lightning storms.

product is as advertised. sturdy construction. I would purchase again. Only downside is no ethernet connection.

Have had no power surges in our area since installing but I was impressed with the advanced abilities of this surge suppressor and heavy duty wiring as well as the warranty on equipment damage when shopping

Using this to keep new OLED TV and Apple products safe! It holds steady when everything plugged in.
