small damage, but disappointed
The novel arrived in good time we purchased a "new hard cover" since its a gift However the dust cover was torn on the bottom spine and bent on the top spine. There was only cushioning on the top of the book in the mailing box but none around the book or under it. Wanted it "Prestine" as a gift.

Highly recommend the series
I got hooked on the series a couple of years ago and Cormoran and Robin are as good as ever. Fans of the series won't be disappointed. Already looking forward to the next one

Poor formatting, overdone plot.
I will out of the gate award one star for the sheer waste of space of the style choice formatting. It reads like a student using formatting tricks to expand their page count to hit a teahers assignment requirement. If this were any other author an editor would not stand for this. the false "Twitter" posts read rather inauthentic and lacking any sense of the poster. I could not escape the sheer black and white "Good guy, mean guy" vibe that missed it'smark in providing any sort of deeper nuanced approach. It to me, feels like this was a half finished novel that needed a hook to see it out the door- developed or not..

Another excellent book for the series.
Another very enjoyable book in the series. It is well written and I didn't put it down. I only gave 4 stars because it is my least favorite of series. The mystery isn't as interesting as the others. I didn't really enjoy reading the chat room stuff either. I like solving the mysteries with the characters but this one got a bit confusing jumping from one suspect to the next. It's still a really good book and I can't wait till the next one.

Another great one!
Love this series, the writing is brilliant. Don’t be discourage by the negative reviews. They clearly are more reviewing a comment made in the media that was taken out of context. I can not wait for the tv series to catch up!

Not worth the purchase
At least a quarter of the book is white space signifying spacing on online comment threads. It's pretty confusing and boring. The author included a ton of social media comment threads in the book, which really detracts from the story. Would not recommend buying this book unless you like paying to read pretend comment threads on pretend social media sites.

Not worth it.
One of the worst books I’ve ever read.
