These are absolutely garbage. Audio quality is substandard, noise canceling doesn’t work, the material is all cheap plastic, battery life is too short, overall waste of money.
Think twice before purchasing.

Bought in November 2024, haven't used them much since then but they were great up till last week. Right bud quit working, no lights or sound. Left one works in mono mode but without the Right bud just disappointment.

We appreciate your feedback. Since you mentioned that there is no light indicator on the right earbud, it is possible that this is a charging issue, and it is frequently caused by foreign matter on the metal charging contacts, which can include sweat, grease, earwax, and more. These issues can often be resolved by cleaning the contact points on the earbuds and the charging case. Please note that your JBL Tune Flex comes with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty. For further assistance, please contact our customer support.

I work with noisy tools and in "noise canceling mode" for some reason the sounds are amplified more, this mode is useless. Walking in the rain, the touch sensors went crazy and stopped working for a moment. Now the sound is never the same again. Now the bass is much quieter. Since I bought them, I also had the problem that when I put them in the charging case, they are still connected to the phone and I have to deactivate Bluetooth on the phone for them to disconnect.

We appreciate your review. We're here to help. Our JBL Tune Flex's Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is optimized for general ambient sounds (e.g., commute, office), and may be less effective in very high-decibel, industrial environments. Regarding rain exposure, the unit is IPX4 rated, meaning it's resistant to splashes and sweat (suitable for workouts), but heavy rain can sometimes impact performance. For touch sensor, and sound quality issues, please factory reset the unit: With both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. Finally, place the earbuds back into the charging case to complete the process. You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair them again. For charging case connection issues, cleaning the contact points on the earbuds and charging case usually resolves them. Please head to https://support.jbl.com/us/en/howto/true-wireless-headphones-cleaning-instructions-for-re-establishing-charging-us/000016909.html For further assistance, please contact us.

Thank you for your review. We're here to help. Here's some helpful information: 1. Our JBL Tune Flex's Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is optimized for general ambient sounds (e.g., commute, office) and may be less effective in very high-decibel, industrial environments. 2. The unit is IPX4 rated (splash and sweat-resistant for workouts), but heavy rain can impact performance. For any issues arising after rain exposure, including sound or touch sensor problems, a factory reset is often effective. 3. For optimal bass, first use the "Check My Best Fit" feature in the JBL Headphones App to ensure correct ear tip size and positioning. If bass issues persist, consider your audio source quality, EQ settings, or the source device. For intermittent bass, try adjusting your EQ or checking app/service settings. If bass is consistently lacking, toggle your EQ (on/off or boost), test with a different device, or perform a factory reset as a last resort. 4. Factory resetting the unit: • With both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. Finally, place the earbuds back into the charging case to complete the process. • You may need to 'forget' the headphones in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair them again. 5. Please head to https://support.jbl.com/us/en/howto/true-wireless-headphones-cleaning-instructions-for-re-establishing-charging-us/000016909.html Your unit is covered by a one-year standard warranty. Highest bass true wireless earbuds ever used. All JBL products somehow maintain very how quality mids and highs with enormous bass. A great thing to get as a free item with the PB stage 320. The audio is way better than I expected and using it more than I thought I would do.

After only 6 months of use, I can't hear anything anymore through my left earbud (despite cleaning regularly and according instructions), and the right one lost it's (already short) battery life, which is now one hour at best. The sound quality isn't great either, I had earbuds costing half the price with better sound quality. I'm surprised they can market these as noise-cancelling, because they don't cancel any noise at all. The touch buttons are horribly inconvenient, as you constantly touch them when you want to take out your earbud. And they don't register when you actually want to press them. The design of the case is poor as well. A lot of times I put the earbuds back in the case, to discover one hour later that it never contacted to recharge. Don't buy these. You can get way better earbuds (literally in every aspect) for half the price. Very dissapointing from a company that is known for quality products.

The sound is great. The sound is great. Noise cancellation is great also. The only bad thing is that every time I wear/use them I get an allergic reaction in my ears, I get extremely itchy and then my ears are watery for days. It might be the material they're made of. This never happened before.

Bought these less than a month ago and there a decent amount of problems. They didn't seal in my ears that well, and after dropping them a few times, the audio became really quiet. Also the app would be better if it allowed for full customization, instead of the preset control layout. On the plus side, the design and quick charging were really good. They also sounded good as well.

Thanks for your feedback. In order for our JBL Tune Flex to give you the best audio response, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To achieve the best seal and secure fit, try to angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, then gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear. It is best to try this with all of the provided sealing ear tip sizes until you find the one that accomplishes this most easily. If you need further assistance, please contact us.
Earbuds unreliable and not user friendly

Unreliable bluetooth. Doesn't connect easily, often disconnects. Consistently takes 3-5 attempts at connecting. Wastes time. Unreliable charging. Will leave both buds in case, only one charges. Hard to know if they're charging properly. Microphone and sound quality are good, but the earbuds fail on ease of use. Regret buying them.

Thanks for your feedback. We're always looking for ways to improve. For our JBL Tune Flex, we recommend cleaning the contact pins on the case and the earbuds using a cotton swab with alcohol. These pins are sensitive to dust. Please ensure the pins are dry before placing them back on the case. If the issue persists, please contact our customer support.

Will randomly connect to your phone while in case and therefore be dead when you take them out, instead of pairing to your phone one headphone will pair to the "master headphone" and have NO AUDIO as a result, fall out constantly with different tips, and "noise cancelling" is non-existent. Pay extra for a pair of Bose or something, nowhere even remotely close to the quality of their speakers.

Quality product! These headphones have wonderful sound. The customizable touch buttons are amazing for quick changes. These headphones are durable! I fell and dropped them in the winter in my driveway. After plowing, snowplowing, and 6 months later. I found them in the yard. THEY WORKED! Charged them, put them in my ears and started listening again!!! Now I have two pairs since I bought another pair when I lost them initially. THEY STILL WORKED! Couldn’t believe it. Scratched a little on the outside, but literally looks gentle used. High quality product!!!

I lost 1 earbud in the snow when shoveling. Found it 2 months later when the snow melted and it still worked!! I have no issues with sound at all and I am extremely impressed that it still worked after being stuck in snow and water for months. I will be buying more from this brand in the future!
Great sound, great battery life, poor design.

Great sound quality and long battery life. The ear pieces however didn’t fit anyone’s ears. Not in my house, not with any of the people I tried to give them to. They just fall right out. Major design flaw. Not very loud either if listening to music is your primary purpose in buying earbuds. They were great for phone calls though.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. To achieve the best seal and secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. You may also try using the different sizes of eartips for our JBL Tune Flex. Regarding the volume issue with your earbuds, please connect them to your other devices to see if the same issue occurs. If it does, please follow these reset steps: take both earbuds out. Make sure that they are not connected to any Bluetooth. Press either the left or right earbud three (3) times then hold it on the third tap for 5 seconds. Once done, put back both earbuds inside the charging case for 10 seconds while the lid is closed, and connect them again to your device. Please contact us directly for further assistance.

1 reply from Customer Support team - 4 months ago
Thank you for your feedback. Our JBL Tune Flex has up to 32 hours of battery life. This may vary depending on volume and music content. Please try charging both earbuds to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If it lasts close to the published up-to playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. Please contact our Customer Support, so we can assist you.
