It primarily uses Bluetooth for connecting controllers. It does not natively support connecting Bluetooth audio devices like headphones, so this will not work for what you want. You may want to look into wireless gaming headphones that have a USB 2.4ghz receiver as that technology can have better audio performance as well. works with Linux

It says Windows compatible. I guess. Works fine on Linux boxes, too, which is what we have. 5.15 kernel. Fast and works at a nice distance. I'd read that UB500 devices weren't a problem.
