Q: Is is magnetic? After roasting in the oven, I like to move the pan to my induction cooktop to deglaze or make gravy. To do this, the stainless steel must be magnetic.

LOVE this roaster!

I've had several roasting pans over the years and every one of them ended up hard to clean and the non stick coating eventually peeling off and becoming garbage. I found this pan on Target on sale, and loved that it was non coated stainless steel so took a chance. WOW. I am thrilled with how sturdy, easy to clean and convienent it is. It's sooooo shiny and pretty and well made. I'm in love! This is going to be one of my forever pans.

Questionable

I purchased this, it looked fine. Upon reading the papers that came with it it said oven safe to 356 degrees? Why does the advertisement say it's safe to 500? I returned the item.
