  • A: The top is screwed on to the hinge and cannot be easily removed, but it can be folded back to a less-than-45-degree angle against the back of the hamper. Or you could unscrew the top to permanently remove it. Hope this helps!

I ordered two of these laundry baskets. one was perfectly fine, easy to put together. however, the second one looked as if it had already been used and when I tried to put it together, screws did not match correctly and the metal on one of the pieces had been bent. I was able to fix it myself, however I'm not happy with having to do this. luckily the used part is against a wall so it's not seen

This is a very nice hamper that fits into just the right spot in our bathroom. When searching for a replacement for our falling apart 17 year old one, I found some gorgeous hand woven hampers made in Africa. To the tune of $250 and up. Would love to have but target's hamper filled the bill at a fraction of the cost. Was delivered quickly even over Xmas weekend.

Dont waste your money!

Well, I had high hopes for this hamper. Upon arrival I was saddened that required me to put together. Then, once I started putting it together, I realize there was missing screws and that the corners were bent. The top does not align it’s super flimsy and cheap highway robbery $45 for this trash hamper

Far exceeded expectations

I ordered the hamper in a natural bamboo color, but when it arrived it had far more warm brown than I expected, which fit perfectely with the rest of the bathroom decor. It's incredibly well made and quite sturdy. Lining up one of the corners proved a bit of a task, but I succeeded in assembling it quite quickly. My problem was finding a hamper slim enough to fit in the one and only open place I have in my bathroom and it does!!! My last hamper is actually wicker, but after 24 years, showing some wear. I expect this one will outlast me. I'd purchase this product again, should the need ever arise.
