I really like it

Smells amazing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very light weight and feels amazing on my hair and scalp! The application is very easy, all you have to do is push the trigger and a fair amount comes out! It’s very effective on freshly washed hair and dry hair! It leaves a white residue when you first apply it but it eventually soaks in with the hair. Very good strength and it smells amazing!

Soft hair

Deeply moisturizing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is deeply moisturizing and it smells so good. I like how it helps to detangle my hair and refreshes my curls. I’m not sure if the continuous spray type nozzle is necessary but it doesn’t deter from the benefits of this product.

My hair was easy to detangle and the scent…*chef’s kiss* My hair was definitely more manageable(the slip was amazing) and felt overall healthier. This was the prep needed before my next styling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not for the girls with the 4C hair. I had a strong feeling that it wouldn't be and Mielle didn't disappoint. The spray portion was terrible.. it came out more like a stream than an actual spray. Also, for the consistency, it really should be applied in a spray bottltle. It's just too thick which means that it cannot spray. I don't mind this thickness, it's just not meant for that type of application. Further, per usual, it did nothing for the moisture levels in my hair. Of course, this is my own opinion... Some of my hairs are very porous while others aren't. My hair just felt DRY no matter how I tried to use it. My daughter has 3a hair. It might work for her. 🤷🏾♀️

Works great as a detangler.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works well with curly hair. My son likes to use it to detangle his curls after washing. It leaves his curls more bouncy and twisted together and less frizzy. For my coarser curls I use it on damp hair along with hairspray. I crunch an then let it air dry. If the air is humid or if I blow dry it will still dry with frizz. Works better letting it air dry. The sprayer is a nice touch sprays a little longer than a normal sprayer. The smell is great leaves your hair smelling good for a good 24 hrs or so. Other than that I didn't notice any other change to my hair except when you touch your hair with it on it does transfer to your hands leaves them sticky feeling. Overall it would be a great addition to anyone's routine especially if your hair gets as tangled as ours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not really a fan of the Mielle Organics melon and aloe leave in conditioner. First the sprayer is not great. It sprays the product like cleaning sprays do, with a concentrated stream so if you want full coverage you have to use your hands to spread it around (which negates the use of a sprayer). The smell is nice but the product did nothing for my or my child’s hair.

Amazing hydration that will bring the curls back
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Crazy hydration! This product brought my dry curls back to life. The application was super easy and similar to my water spray bottle. I used both water and this leave in conditioner and my hair soaked it up and was more defined. Definitely incorporating this to extend my wash and gos before the next wash day.

Made styling really easy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This leave in added some great slip when styling my hair. I have type 2C/3A hair and it was still lightweight enough to allow my curls to form. The scent was nice and didn’t give me a headache. It also didn’t clash when layering other products on top. I would repurchase this.

After using it for some time after my showers, I definitely like the product but I do not like the spray bottle. Every time I use it sprays everywhere but my hair. My friend uses the same one and has the same issue. I do love the scent but I can’t use a lot of the product on my hair because the next day it will feel oily.

Too creamy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially I was excited when I saw a spray leave in conditioner, because it is easier to apply on your hair, especially when wet. This is great thick formula for hydration and deep conditioning. I feel like it is too thick for a leave in conditioner for my hair texture because it leave a little residue. I am not a fan of the fragrance either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This leave in has a strong smell that can get a little annoying. But if you enjoy the scent you will love it because it lasts in the hair. I am not a fan of how this product squirts out of the bottle. It’s a straight spray and probably best to spray on hands then in the hair. It leaves hands feeling sticky. It moisturizes at the moment of doing the hair but I feel the hair feels super dry the next day. Does provide a little shine and helps detangle.

Decent curl definition

With that being said, using this product alone, my curls did turn out a bit frizzy and less moisturized than I would prefer. It might take some trial and error figuring out the right styling technique, but that’s my initial impression.

The consistency is very thick and does not absorb well into the hair. The fact that it sprays should help, but that is not the case. The smell is also overwhelming and unpleasant to me. It does not smell natural. I don’t recommend it personally.

I used this in my boho style braids, you can visibly see how much smoother, softer, and more defined my hair looks after using this.
