  • A: Whether or not you need to drain condensate depends on the humidity level of your environment. For example in Florida 85% a drain tube needed, in Nevada at 30%, not.

The unit is designed with an internal drain tray that collects water and will need to be manually drained depending on use. Horrible

So unrealistic. This thing puts out 5 gallons of water in like 4 hours so either you don’t get AC all night or you wake up constantly to dump an ugly 5 gallon bucket. The unit is just a terrible purchase. Wish we could return it, but like other reviews we tried and had no luck. Buy something else.

Do not ever buy this

Junk. I got this less than two months ago and I have to set it up high so it can drain into a five gallon bucket overnight. In eight hours the bucket is over half full. How can you design an indoor unit that needs to drain and have the drain two inches from the floor? Then it started putting out more heat than cool about a week ago. It's 83 in my house but 72 outside right now. The hose leaks hot air where it attaches to the unit (it's done according to instructions) because it fits loosely. When I cut it off it smelled like something burnt. Filters are clean, the hose goes straight to the window with just the slightest curve upward. I recommend that nobody ever buy this trash. Oh, the digital display used to work all the time, now it only works when I change settings, then cuts out. It worked ok for a month and a half before acting up. Just long enough that you can't take it back to the store.

Waste of time and money.

My husband bought one of these units. In one day, I had to empty the catch basin 5 times and my husband did it another. It was set to 68°, but the room never went below 93°. It will be returned tomorrow.

Smh bad after purchasing

It was a pain in the you know what dealing. With a team who showed little care when their item is missing important parts after one week of communication I am still wondering where did I go wrong. Air blows average and definitely not as good as the price
