Doesnt work and no one answers the phone in store.
I personally have a kindle. So I got this kindle for my son for Christmas. When I ordered it on-line it got here in the perfect amount of time. However it hardly works. It freezes and the screen doesn't work most of the time. I really want to replace it however it won't let me do that on line when calling the only store a hour from my house they never answer. I have called 28 times over the last 4 days. I don't want to drive over a hour there to not be able to help me. I don't want to have to drive a hour and then end up paying the new price on line as well. I have also called another store 2.5 hours away over the course of 4 days 14 times and they don't answer as well.

Surprisingly great screen!
Wow, considering I’ve previously had the kobo libra color, I’m shocked that the Colorsoft screen is so nice. The KLC would be so distracting because the colored layer created a graininess that was super prevalent. The same effect is extremely faint in the Colorsoft and you really don’t notice it while reading. It really does feel like reading a book with just the slightest dimness and texture. The other devices like the paperwhite, although great in direct light, have this screen like look to them that feels more like a phone. I was hesitant getting the Colorsoft because of my experience with the KLC and knowing it’s the same screen manufacturer, but Amazon ate and left no crumbs. It seems they’ve also fixed the yellow banding on the bottom.
