Great upgrade
I upgraded from a 7x pro and i am very glad i did. The screen is so much better and easier to read than my 7. So far the battery life has been great considering that i us it every day and play music on it as well. The overall layout is quite different than the 7 but rather easy to adapt to. All thing considered, i am very glad that i made the change.

Great watch!
I love the size, the AMOLED display, the Garmin coaching, not to mention, all the analytics. With Garmin Connect+, I can also track my nutrition and hydration. I’m loving all the new features.

Great upgrade from the Fenix 7X Solar
I bought this watch for the ECG and inReach capabilities but have found so much more in the watch. The screen resolution is great and the colors are vibrant. The ability to use folders for apps allows for easier and quicker access for activities and data. Being able to be in contact without carrying my phone is a big deal for hiking and fishing in remote areas without cell service.

No need for phone!
The main reason I bought this was for LTE / LiveTrack. I no longer need to carry my phone on long runs or races for LiveTrack to work. I've also noticed that in spotty areas, LiveTrack will automatically reconnect once LTE is available again. That's a huge advantage over using LiveTrack via a Bluetooth phone connection (where it does not auto-reconnect in all cases). In addition to LTE, I preferred the larger watch for longer battery life, since LTE uses more power. I am getting about 2 weeks with Always On Display while doing about 4x1hr runs per week with this watch. Amazing battery life!!!

Best Garmin Fenix ever, and I've had most of them
The watch uses a familiar format, so no learning curve needed. Beautiful display, intuitive interface. Having an actual phone and satellite capability embedded in the phone is reassuring for those using the watch in poor cell reception areas.

Best Watch!
The Fenix 8 Pro continues to impress me. Battery life is outstanding — I’m getting weeks of use even with daily GPS workouts. The training metrics are comprehensive yet easy to interpret, which makes tracking progress and pushing harder incredibly straightforward. This is my second Fenix, and I don’t see myself switching brands anytime soon. Garmin keeps refining what already works. The built-in LED flashlight is also a great practical addition. Fantastic watch overall.

Worst garmin I have ever purchased
My old Fenix 5 worked a dream. This watch is rubbish and not worth the money paid. Screen crashes on long runs and now given the latest software upgrades, it has lost the ability to transfer workouts. I have paired it to my phone 3 times!!! Still won´t transfer. Garmin issuing substandard updates. Stick to an older model without the software glitches.

Garmin beast
Its a phenomenal watch! It does everything, i use it for all my workouts bike rides etc. The battery life alone is better than any smart watch I know of, I just put it I n the charger after 15 days but it could have went more. Lots of watch faces and apps, i only complaint would be that it doesnt connect to my s25 ultra completely as if I wanted to text my contacts from my watch I have to the Garmin app and its a different number. To bad if doesnt sink up to your phone like an addle or Samsung watch.

Great for backcountry skiing.
I returned a coros watch because it didn’t auto lock and work correctly for this purpose. The fenix works perfectly where that watch failed miserably.

Fantastic Upgrade!
Upgraded from a Fenix 5X two weeks ago and couldn't be happier! Still same great battery life with added touch screen capabilities. I love being able to download playlists straight to the watch for music on the go without having to take my phone.

Awesome watch, incredible upgrade from Apple
I bought this watch for the limited Inreach capability, switching from an Apple Watch. Incredible customizable, premium feeling, and the features are built for an active person/adventure. As someone that doesn’t use a lot of the cutesie features from Apple, this was an upgrade by a wide margin. Also, getting to use it at night and during the day instead of picking one to charge daily was huge - 2 weeks out of the box and it’s still going strong (didn’t have a full charge, either).
