Q: Can you amend the description on the app? It includes the Pur plus filter in the description and it was the shorter filter that came with it. I think the questions mention it but it’s a bit disappointing when you’re trying to just drive up for pick up.

A: There is no light in this unit. It is completely plastic. I live alone, drink a ton of water each day and I change my filter about every 3 months.

A: Thank you for your inquiry. If your PUR Classic 30-Cup Dispenser is taking up to 2 hours to filter, first ensure the filter was properly prepared and flushed according to the instructions. Sometimes air bubbles or carbon particles can slow the flow. To help remedy this, we would first recommend removing the filter from your dispenser. Once removed, please hold the filter upside down at a slight angle and shake it for 5-6 seconds before returning it to the upright position. Leaks!

Spout started leaking after a year
Worked great until the spout, which you cannot replace or repair, started to leak. I removed the spout (easy enough to do) to see if it was the o-ring, but it's the gasket inside the housing of the nozzle itself which has failed. You cannot get into this part to clean or replace (without breaking something). On to Brita I guess! Hate throwing something like this away due to what should be an easily replaceable part, but no options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our water always seems to have a lot of chlorine. We had a Samsung refrigerator with water in the door. When it quits functioning, we had to purchase another refrigerator and it didn't have ice and water in the door. We were surprised when that we drank much less water without having that convenience at our finger tips. We had tried a Brita pitcher long ago and the water would come pouring out of the top if One of us didn't tell the other that we had just filled it so that was a pain. So this seemed like a good solution. It held a lot of water. You didn't have to pour it out. You could just hit the spout. We put it in the refrigerator and it's working great. We're back to drinking more water and the water tastes good so I would recommend this product. It was a good fit for what we needed.

Disappointing
Bought it to place in the fridge for easy access fresh water. By the third day it was leaking heavily! The bottom of my fridge was filled with water. So now I use it to refill containers that I place in the fridge. No longer convenient. To top it off, now I've had it about two months and the handle to "release" the water broke off completely. Ugh.
