  • A: So do your filter pitchers once again have an option that filters lead?? Now I see the image of the box mentions lead filtration and I see that on other websites selling a lead filtering pitcher.

  • A: This confusion is created by Pur company intentionally. The excuse of the reformulation does not stand up. You should have change the name with the new formula to "Pur Less". Shame on Pur.

Q: hello Pur I have been dissapointed that it was this difficult to realize after finally finding Pur Plus filters, that they are a lesser product and do not remove lead. please advise what has changed

While our CRF950Z pitcher filters prioritize microplastic filtration, they do not remove lead. However, effective August 1, 2024, our PUR Plus lead-reducing filter (PPF951K) is back on the market and certified for 99% lead reduction.   • A: This is really disappointing. Why should we pay the same price for a product that does less? Some of us have pull down spray nozzles and can't use the faucet filter. It makes me want to switch brands.

Q: Why change the filter to no longer filter lead and then come recommend a faucet mount when clearly most common faucets these days (ie, with sprayers) are not compatible w/ a mount? I'll take slower.

Super simple setup for a filter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replacement filter is the easiest thing to replace when it comes to my PUR dispenser. The directions are very straightforward. They show images on what to do and literally it takes 10 to 15 minutes to soak the filter and a quick rinse and it’s ready to go. I also love that it’s pretty quick to dispense my water right after replacing my filter. The packaging of the filter is not too hard to open which I do appreciate but overall highly recommend!

Clean Water Filter, Easy Install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pur Plus Water Pitcher Replacement Filter with lead reduction is very easy to install. First you soak it in water for 15 minutes and then you run water thru it for 15 seconds. Then it fits into the pitcher by screwing it by hand into place. Be sure to dump the first pitcher of water that goes thru the filter. I had no side leaks of water from this Pur Plus filter. I am pleased that it came with a static cling sticker to remind me when to replace it in two months and a coupon for my next filter with a long expiration date. I really like that the filter has NSF/ANSI certifications and is 3rd party tested so that I know I am getting wonderful, clean water. This filter fits my 30 cup pitcher and lasts two months which means it has a large capacity. I am happy knowing that this filter is silently purifying my drinking water.

Amazing Filter!

Easy to install and comes with a how to on how to properly use before installing. Having to use and clean for a time before using in the pitcher. It eliminates the odor of chlorine and makes a clean and crisp taste. And can last depending on how many cups of water you get.

Then rinse it for 10 seconds. Then you can insert the filter then fill your container. It was easy to do. You should replace your filter every 2 months or 40 gallons for cleaner and fresher water.
