A: Great question! The feeding amounts for this recipe ranges from 3 to over 100 pound dogs. The recommended feeding amounts indicated are based upon the average nutritional needs of an adult dog with a normal activity level. Factors, such as a dog's metabolism, breed size, activity level, age and whether the dog is spayed or neutered, will affect the amount of Purina ONE needed to maintain an ideal body condition. The pet experts at Purina have provided the feeding amounts indicated as a starting point. If you find that your dog is losing weight or becomes overweight when fed these amounts, please adjust accordingly. One pup was adopted from PetFinder.com, another from our local Humane Society, and the third was rescued from a puppy mill. I urge anyone who is able to, to adopt from organizations such as these. These dogs are often overlooked, but if shown love snd compassion, they are perfect companions. If not for my three, my life would not be nearly as rewarding. That is why I reward my dogs with Purina products, a trustworthy company that's been around for years. I've trusted Purina for over 30 years and my dogs and I will continue to be loyal customers.
