Pyrex MealBox 5.5 Cup Rectangular Glass Food Storage

Great quality container for my lunch. I have been using it daily for the last 3 weeks and have had no issues thus far. I deducted one star because it’s a bit too heavy, but of course it is made of glass so that is to be expected. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Love the size for fresh vegetables, but the container is on the heavy side.

The divided container is very useful. Can use 1 instead of 2 for work. It is heavier than I had thought it would be. I would have looked at in store, but covid closed the one that was near me.

I like the dish but I have a hard time with the tabs on the lids. They’re almost impossible to push in & lock the lid.

When I first brought this item home and removed it from its packaging to be washed, I noticed that the clasps were incredibly difficult to re-seal after washing. The fit was extremely tight and definitely a hassle to close, but it seemed extremely air tight. After using and washing for a second time, the blue silicone barrier on the tray began to lift from the glass. This resulted in the strip being warped and unable to be reverted. The clasps no longer close due to this. I have thoroughly enjoyed Pyrex products in the past, but this product really dropped the ball in terms of quality and design.

The 4 clasp lid absolutely sucks. It is impossible to close. I want to return all 3 I purchased.

I was very hesitant to purchase based on reviews of the lid problems. (Figured I will be prepared to return it.) It’s March of 2021, and I picked mine up this morning. The lid came off and went back on very easily and seems very structurally sound. Maybe Pyrex fixed a faulty design? So far i am extremely pleased to add this divided container to my reusable storage routine. (I’ll be back to edit this if the lid breaks.)

Better than other meal prep box’s I have gotten before. easy to clean and very solid. Only downside is they are very thick glass which makes them heavier

Love these Pyrex meal boxes! I have them in several different sizes. They’re perfect for my kids lunches — plenty of room for a variety of healthy foods. They hold up well in the dishwasher. Great product!

I bought it a couple of weeks ago, we always hand wash it, no dishwasher, so it wouldn’t break. My husband took it to work, when he was eating he got a piece of glass that had broken off from the container, it did cut him and hurt him a little bit. I bought this for all the good reviews and thought it would be a good purchase, but I’m disappointed about the quality of it.

larger than expected, excellent feeling quality. lid will need some breaking in to make easier to put on.

Another great Pyrex product. Sturdy, easy to clean, and nice storage capacity. The division inside is a great addition... You can keep dry and wet food nicely separated in just one container. This is my choice when storing leftovers... Plastic containers are disgusting (they stain and get smelly very easily, not to mention that they are not as safe as glass when using the microwave, in my understanding).

While the glass container seems to be of good quality, the lid cracked at the flip clips after two uses.

It's nice having this. It divided up my foods that I wanted. Sealed was perfect. Never spilt or anything was air tight. Only issue for me was for some reason it was hard to put the lid on. This is a very good glass container. It's dishwasher safe and the divided section is great for meal prep. The only complaint is that the rubber ring on the inside of the lid pops out easily and has to be fixed back in each time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The Pyrex MealBox 5.5 Cup Rectangular Glass Food Storage is an excellent container to store any type of leftovers in the refrigerator. I also love it for storing vegetables that I have cut up for salads. It keeps everything fresh because it is airtight.

This really surprised me when I picked it up. I knew it was glass which is better for reheating food in the microwave, but this is no lightweight. It is heavy, I found it surprising how heavy. Very sturdy glass food storage container. The glass is nice and thick and holds quite a bit of food. I use it to store leftovers and reheat them the next day. The lid seals well and snaps close. Easy storing and keeps food fresh. Washes up well too.

This was a well made heavy duty meal box. It was easy to clean and helped to keep my lunch secured in my bag.
