If I could rate it 0 stars, I definitely would. This protein bar does NOT taste like or merely resemble anything oatmeal chocolate chip related. It's like a solid block of cookie dough covered in sand. I couldn't even eat it. The texture is awful. You're better off eating splenda flavored protein powder straight from the container. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.
There's a beautiful picture of an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie on the packaging. If you don't happen to have your readers on, you'll likely miss the "for illustration only" text in very small white font below it. Open it up and your disappointment begins (see attached photo).
Then bite into it (if you can). It's a very dense sticky mess with a texture like those peanut butter sticks we ate in the early 70s that were "space food". Disgusting. I spit it out. Should not be sold to anyone. Waste on shelf space, Target.
These are awful! I ordered them because of the good reviews, but neither my husband nor I liked them. They have an overwhelming, unidentifiable flavor that takes a while to go away. The texture is unpleasant. The picture on the box is misleading. Expecting anything resembling that is a mistake. VERY DISAPPOINTED. We do not recommend these.
These are KILLER. For so much nutrition, it's almost unbelievable the flavor you get. They have an oat-y texture from, obviously, the oats, and big chunks of chocolate. They honestly taste like you are eating oatmeal chocolate chip cookie dough straight out of the mixture. My kids go crazy for these as well.
This bar is like the cinnamon roll and cookie dough bar had a baby! Yep....cinnamon cookie flavor with chunks of chocolate and oatmeal in eat bite. The texture is just like an oatmeal cookie when you chew it...low carb, high fiber, and low sugar. Its a clean cheat for when you want to reach for the unhealthy cookies when your sweet tooth strikes. This is one of the newer flavors and it is easily one of my favorites next to the blueberry muffin and chocolate chip cookie dough.
