I’ve been using this brand for years. My boxer is having gas issues. Occasionally vomits and has smelly odd looking stool. The vet told me to switch his food. I looked at Nutrish and soybean meal is the second ingredient and it can cause gas, bloating, abnormal stools, and vomiting in dogs. I’ve switched to another brand that has no soy, no corn, no grain, all of which are added in Nutrish.

They will go crazy!
I don't know what is in this, but it's like crack to my dogs! They go crazy for this dog food. Too crazy for my taste! Buyer beware! Haha! My dogs gobble it up so fast I've had to start mixing it with another brand just so they would pace themselves and actually chew! Even my very picky golden retriever fights to come inside to eat her meals every time, when I would have to practically drag her in with her old brand. If you have a picky dog, give this one a try!

Might be cause of epilepsy
My dog has been on nutrish since he was born. 9 years later he begins to have seizures monthly. Went through all the tests etc. .. no specific reason although the internet claims it could be dietary related. now at 10 years I switch him to Hill’s science diet and he has been seizure free ever since. Coincidence? I think not

Dog absolutely loves this food. When transitioning from his old food to this one, he completely ate this one up without needing to add in cheese or meat or anything just to get her to eat!! If your dog is a picky eater and you are looking for something healthy and a change, this is a great option

If I could give this zero stars I would. I ordered this food for my moms two chihuahuas and within a day they had bloody stools and vomiting for days, they are being taken to the vet, their guess is some kind of bacteria in the food but are now being put on antibiotics. They have been so sick for 10 days. I will never recommend this food, do not buy!!!
