BEWARE!! this absolutely needs to be taken off shelves only a matter of time before they get sued for extreme hair loss. This has damaged my hair beyond REPAIR. I used it only 4 times and have lost 30% of my hair. I stopped using it 2 and a half weeks ago but am still having CHUNKS of hair fall out in the shower. It’s so severe that half my shower time is trying to wipe all the long strands of hair off myself. Mind you, I’ve ALWAYS have had extremely healthy, shiny, soft hair. I have tried many shampoos and have never had anything like this happen. It honestly feels like a nightmare, it is visibly damaged weak and brittle from 4 days of using !!!! Every time I get in the shower or look in the mirror I feel so angry. I can’t imagine what these chemicals are doing absorbed in your body if this is what it did to hair. I really hope this review stops people from bringing this home it’s only a matter of time before they get recalled.

Okay so I tried a lot of Sulfate free clean shampoo and conditioners since last year November when I started shedding excessively. I wrote a lot of reviews why those products didn't work for me. I was skeptical trying this shampoo and conditioner based on the negative reviews but glad I still decided to try it because this shampoo and the conditioner makes my hair so soft and manageable. I tried the avocado and apple cider vinegar shampoo and conditioner before this one and I didn't like how it made my hair look and feel--like stiff and dry. It also made my hair very limp. However this strawberry shampoo and the conditioner gives my hair enough volume and silkyness. I actually never had a shampoo where I can run my fingers through right out the shower. Every shampoo I ever tried bunched up my hair where I couldn't even comb it until it's like fully dry. Air drying time is shorter too because it doesn't bunch up my hair--my hair is soft and straight out the shower. This product works for me because I have fine hair and it gives me volume and hydration without being greasy. By the way I wash my hair everyday so it's hard to find a shampoo and conditioner that isn't drying or too hydrating. Most importantly, I'm not sure if my shedding stage is just coming to end but my hair is shedding wayyyyy less than before. This goes to show you can't trust products just based on reviews whether good or bad because everyone is different and what works for someone might not for others and vise versa.

I wasn't going to review until I saw that other people have the same concerns... so here we are. I began using this beginning end of October and stopped mid November because I just couldn't take it anymore. The first time I used it I had a significant amount of build-up and grease from a treatment I did, so it worked accordingly and seemed to do a good job. Every time I used it after the initial test I would up with hair so dry it looked fried. My hair has been on healing journey for the last two years, and it was doing so much better. This *stuff* (insert choice word) set me back. Thank GOD I stopped using it before I let it ruin my hair. I was losing more hair than normal, I had new split ends every wash, it was dry, and even months later- I have a dandruff problem that I can't find a shampoo that doesn't irritate. UGH. I'm returning, and this needs to be pulled from shelves IMMEDIATELY! Oh and for reference- I have long, medium density, baby fine, very loose wave hair. It is manageable and presentable when certain products don't mess it up......

i usually can wait about 3-4 days between hair washes before it gets greasy but this shampoo dries out my hair so much that my hair gets greasy after only 2 days. my hair feels so brittle and it makes my split ends soooo much more noticeable

Picked this up to try, had a very poor experience. It took about three large portions of the product to actually wash dirt out of my hair. Often, my hair would still be greasy after using it, have never had a shampoo that performs so poorly. I used it for a few weeks to avoid throwing out a new product, but completely stopped when I noticed significant chunks of hair were falling out of my head every time I showered or brushed my hair. After a few weeks on a different shampoo and conditioner my hair is growing back. Do not make the same mistake I did when purchasing this, this product needs to be removed from the shelves and immediately reformulated.

Love this shampoo and conditioner! I bleach my hair often and it’s the only shampoo that really cleans my head without totally stripping my color like other drug store shampoos. Even my husband uses this shampoo. I know the bottle is a little “pricey” for drug store but as long as you are using the product the way intend it lasts us forever, and I have hair down to my butt in length.

I was really excited to a new what I assumed “healthy” shampoo… and it was going well up until about 2 months in. After about 2 months I was losing quite a bit of hair in the shower which seemed normal. I’m a female with long average weight hair. However, one night out the blue I went to squeeze out my shampoo and I didn’t get much so I shook the bottle and it sounded as if my shampoo was a frozen slushy. So I squeezed it out and it came out in a very thick lumpy jelly texture with very minimal lather when applied. That along with the large amount of hair loss I had been noticing was a bit alarming. So I threw the bottle away half empty. I’m just very curious to know what caused it to become so thick and lumpy (to the point I could hardly get it out of the bottle).

Also, I’ve noticed that this shampoo did add some texture to my hair. I have really straight hair and this added that extra volume my hair needed. Also, this adds extra moisture to my hair because my scale tends to be dry sometimes. Overall, this is a really great shampoo and will continue to use it.
