Real Techniques' MCS works best with liquid and cream makeup products such as foundation, skin tints, and illuminators. This makeup sponge has RT's unique 3-point application technique that makes blending products seamless. First use the flat edge of the MCS to pack on product, then the precision tip to conceal, and finally, blend it all out with the rounded side. Use it damp for extra dewiness and let that inner glow shine through. Makeup that takes you from day to night. Rinse through with lukewarm water after each use. Deep clean 1x/week with Real Techniques Brush + Sponge Gel Cleanser. Air dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated area. Store in a cool, dry place. Replace every 30 days.

Nice.
Real Techniques has aways made great tools at an even better price. This sponge feels nice to use, doesn't absorb too much foundation, easy to clean. It does seem slightly different than the OG sponge, the one that is orange. I can't tell if it's the outer texture or the density, but it does give a different finish than I recall getting with my previous RT sponges. However, still a nice sponge that I will continue to use until time to replace!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy most of the Real Techniques blenders I have used, and this one is no exception. Firstly, (gasp), I usually apply my foundation lightly with my fingers. It just works for me! Then, I smooth it in by tapping lightly with a blender. I have done this for years. This particular blender does leave a glowy finish with my IT Cosmetics CC foundation. The texture of the blender is firmer and denser than the Real Techniques airbrush blender that I had been using, and I think I like the finish better with this one! Will repurchase!

It has a very unique shape which helps with foundation coverage and blends it very well. When using damp, it absorbs less foundation. I found it gives an even application of foundation and concealer. I compared it with my beauty blender and both have the same application even though the real techniques sponge is half in price. I recommend this sponge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t wear a lot of makeup daily. But I do put on eye make up. The eyeshadow primer being used with this sponge did an amazing job. It seemed to evenly blend the primer. My only complaint is that it absorbed more primer than if I had used my finger but that’s expected with a sponge. It would be great for liquid make up.
