Tugs your hair, does not glide smoothly at all. Definitely not a product I’d recommend

Easy to change temperature has an amazing performance and it felt safe to flat iron my curly hair just fewer times . I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not like this straightener at all. It’s really light weight and feels cheap. It gets really hot and honestly seems like it’s damaging to your hair from first use. My hair felt greasy and looked worse after I straightened it than my natural straight hair. I wanted to give this an honest try so I used it after my hair was twisted in a messy bun all day and therefore was not straight. It took a while to get my hair straight but it did the job. If I needed it in a pinch it would be usable, but it’s worth it to spend a little bit more money for a much better quality straightener.

It is lightweight, heats up in no time, and offers shine while straightening or curling. The iron has the following features that I can attest to: - heats up in 15 seconds, adjustable temperature range from 300-450 Fahrenheit, floating plate system (I was able to set it down on wood & plastic & it didn’t damage anything!), lock for both the temp and the hinge, auto safety shut off, and a swivel cord.’ Additionally, it is very lightweight, the heat is evenly distributed allowing for a ‘one pass result’ - this is SO true! I’ve never styled my hair so quick, and I used to use an EXPENSIVE other brand & make 5-6 passes per section! The ceramic plates are infused with vitamins C, E, & a B3 complex, offering a burst of shine after usage (see included pic of me after using, shiny & pretty, even when using on dirty hair!). Overall, I’m totally sold on Remington and this flat iron. I think it’s an incredible value for the price, easy to use, lightweight, and provides amazing results.10/10! Would recommend to anyone that is looking for a basic straightener. I like how this straightener can be adjusted heat wise. Super easy and comfy to use.

It turns off after a certain amount of time, great hold and design, the material of the iron is smooth which I think helps smoothe everything out, and there’s obviously multiple heat settings and I try to stay at the lowest! I love this brand and I’m happy with this product

The 1” size is perfect to add some loose curls. It does not clamp as firmly as I would have liked and it’s a bit flimsy but for the price, it’s a great option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used Remington hair styling products on my hair for years. My last Remington hair straightener is as old as my middle child - 8yrs! Lol. It’s still going strong, but I figured hair styling tools have changed a lot in that that time, so I was due for an upgrade. I tried other hair straightening brands that I’ve seen all over social media, but they never really worked that great on my hair type. I have thick, wavy, dry hair. I just kept coming back to my Remington one bc it’s the only thing that’s worked. There’s a reason why Remington is the #1 brand of flat irons! So I was excited to finally try a new Remington flat iron. Upon first try, it works really great and I think I can finally retire my old 8yo Remington straightener. It heats up quickly. It boasts around 15sec heat up time. It can go up to 450°, although my hair doesn’t need that much heat. I used the pro setting and it was fine for my needs. The outside can get hot, so just be careful when using. It did leave my hair feeling healthier and shinier. I even tried to do a curl with it and it worked pretty good. I do have some dry split ends that were preexisting, but I don’t feel like the flat iron made my split ends any worse. Overall, a great flat iron and I would suggest it for anyone looking for a new styling tool.

Very straightforward to use and you can't even get confused on how to use it. Turn it on and then adjust the temperature. I didn't have to wait a few minutes for it to heat up. It was ready to go in about a minute. This also works well with curling hair too. I only know how to curl my hair using a straightener and this works just as well as my old one. Would recommend if all you need is to straighten and curl your hair.
