This product really delivered. It has a pleasant scent that is very mild. Formula was thin enough to easily flow out of the applicator bottle but thick enough to stay on my hair for the duration of the dyeing process. It covered my grays easily, left my hair feeling healthy and smelling great! I love ColorSilk and keep coming back to it because it really is the best value in terms of quality and price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was alright, do like how it gave instructions, a pair of gloves so I don't stain my hands, and aftercare treatment conditioner. However, it left my hair uneven. As you can tell in the pictures my hair is lighter in some areas than others. It looks very bronze. I'm going to have to either dye my hair back dark or get a toner to fix it. On the side of the box, I demonstrates what's expected with your original hair color, but as a result you can tell it's not true.

It completely covered my grays, just like it promised, and left my hair feeling soft and healthy thanks to the Bond Repair Complex. I also love that it’s ammonia-free and uses vegan keratin-my hair didn’t feel dry or brittle afterward. One box was more than enough for full coverage, and the results looked salon-quality for a fraction of the price. This is now my go-to hair dye. Highly recommend for anyone looking for bold, beautiful color without the damage!

This has to be one of the worst in terms of application and neatness—the applicator requires you to cut off the tip and as soon as I did, the product in the bottle started to ooze out upwards. After mixing the ingredients, I was shocked at how watery the dye was and unsurprisingly, got everywhere due to the texture and terrible design of the applicator. It also has an unpleasant smell. I am disappointed in this product and hope the dye at least lasts for a few weeks.

I love that it is ammonia free and formulated to protect hair from frizz and breakage. I found it to be very easy to apply, with an easy to follow instruction manual. It rinsed easily, and the conditioner left hair untangled and easy to work with afterward. It provided full color coverage and a nice sheen. I would definitely recommend it to others.
