  • A: I now use the ColorStay with SPF (packaging is a little different, it has a pump which is nice, and it is still for combo/oily skin). For a primer (bear with me, this might sound strange) I've actually used Monostat Anti-Chafing Gel for YEARS. It fills in all my imperfections and smooths out my skin tone prior to applying the foundation, and it's never caused me to break out (seems like it helps control oil and shine). I get tons of compliments and asked often what makeup I use. Stays on during summer activities and doesn't sweat off. Really great coverage, too. By far the best foundation I've used, including when compared with more "expensive" brands. Highly recommend. I wear it all year round.

    I love this foundation! It provides good coverage and doesn't become shiny or dull over time, which is something I don't experience with almost any other foundation. The only downside is that there are few shades for fair skin.

    Had used Revlon Age Defying 3X for years & loved it...never even looked as if I was wearing makeup and went on smooth and even. Now it's gone. Decided to try this Colorstay by Revlon & I'm so disgusted! When I first pumped it, nothing but a watery, oily, slightly colored mixture came out and squirted everywhere. I tried shaking the bottle; but,the makeup is still thin and runny. The coverage is non-existent and the makeup settles in the few wrinkles I have, making me look older. Plus, the SPF is 15 compared to the SPF 20 in the makeup that I was using. What a colossal waste of money! Bring back the Age Defying formula or lose more customers!

    Go to foundation!

    This used to be my go to foundation! It is a full coverage foundation with a matte finish. And would stay all day. I normally have trouble finding foundations that are light enough for my skin tone, but this product had a good shade range and worked really well for me.

    I have mixed feelings about the Revlon ColorStay foundation. On the positive side, the coverage is quite good and it does last for several hours without completely breaking down, which is great if you need your makeup to hold up during a busy day. I also appreciate the wide range of shades, which makes it easier to find a decent match for my skin tone. However, after about 4–5 hours of wear, I noticed that the finish started to look heavy and slightly cakey, especially around my nose and chin. It also made my skin feel a bit dry, even though I prepped well with moisturizer and primer. The application can be a little tricky, as it sets quickly, so you need to work fast to blend it evenly and avoid streaks. Overall, it’s not a bad foundation, but I was hoping for a smoother, more natural finish. It works fine for occasional wear, but I wouldn’t rely on it as my everyday go-to.

    I am not a huge fan of this foundation. The nozzle often squirts the product out in different directions , ending up on me or the floor. The coverage is light and I’m then having to put on other layers of makeup. I do like that it is SPF.

    This stuff is utter 💩 to be frank. Its like tinted water that stays on parts of your skin. My face is tanned from the summer and when applied it stuck to the tan parts like my forehead and was flakey looking and wouldn't blend in and the rest of my face it disappeared. It wasn't even the right color which is my fault but its not like a perfect match and has zero coverage! I couldn't even recommend this for someone who wants a light coverage foundation cuz it doesn't even do that!

    Horrible

    Tried this when I could no longer get my old brand. Horrible makeup. Thin. watery, mess with horrible pump. Had to clean up makeup mess in my bathroom several times.

    Just awful. Revlon what did you do? I’ve used revlon colorstay for combination skin for several years so I know the formulation has changed. It’s so greasy and oily!. What did you add to it olive oil?? So dissatisfied Now . I will have to search for a better compatible version If it ain’t broke don’t fix it !

    This foundation is good to control your oiliness through out the day but it clings to the dry patches of my skin. It also doesn’t oxidize so choose the right shade.

    Love the foundation but your pumps suck. Can't get the foundation to come out more than half the time. I will have to look for another foundation if you keep using these pumps. Very frustrating. Rated a three star because of pumps. Foundation I would rate a 5.
