Cute but not entirely practical
It’s cute and all, but I would prefer it if I could get a little bit more surface area coverage. There’s too much of a gap between the glass cover and the edge of the wooden stand so if I’m not being super careful and concentrating when covering, it ends up chipping at my cookies or cupcakes.

Do not buy!
If I could give 0 stars I would. I got this to display sour dough bread. I’ve only used it about 2 times before I noticed the wood was cracked in multiple spots. It also has a very strong chemical like odor (I don’t use harsh chemicals in my house). I followed the directions and took very good care of it.

Cute but could be better
I absolutely love the look of this cake stand! I’ve been looking for one and got this one for a really great price. My only complaint is that the dome should be as wide or wider than the plate. If you make a cake with frosting, it will be nearly impossible not to scrape the frosting off the sides of the cake with the dome. I’d recommend this for pastries or smaller items, but I’ll have to get a different stand for frosted cakes.

Glass is dome is a good bit smaller than the plate. Also, glass dome OR the plate is uneven so its not airtight, the dome is off kilter on the plate. Will return it. also, there is wood glue on the bottom of the plate and still a gap.

Beautiful but odd lid
It is absolutely beautiful but unfortunately the lid is such an odd shape. The glass doesn't come straight down, it kind of domes in at the bottom so it doesn't sit at the edge. You can see the odd angle in my photo. It will be hard to fit cakes in it with this but thankfully we will use it more for pastries.

Beautiful cake stand
This is a beautiful cake stand large enough to hold a two layer cake or many pastries. The only downside, as others have said, is the glass cover can move around because it’s smaller than the wood stand. A groove to hold it in place would make it perfect. Still so attractive that it can stay on display always.
