I saw somebody complained because you have to drill to install these. If you didn't make sure they were intact like that then I don't see how you wouldn't worry. These safety first safety latches are good for a parent of maybe 1 or 2 children toddlers but not multiples and the intelligent ones who see you open it once and now they know it the older children who go in and out of cabinets for snacks. 3 of them have broken within a month. These are honestly the best by far out there that are easy to install and are very durable ! Terribly designed and a safety hazard

When closing a door or cabinet, you must push down on the lock for it to engage. If not, the door won't even close. If you have other kids, like I do, there is a high likelihood that they won't close it properly. This product is unsafe and should pulled from the market.
