Stupid design
So, as I was placing these in my door, I noticed they are different from any other knob cover I've ever owned. A toddler will be able to open. They do not have the press in buttons like others, you just grab the knob and turn. I've a clever toddler that will figure this out soon enough. So, don't waste your money on this model. Unless you're using it for a clever pet that can open knobs. Might stop that.

Thanks for your review! We would like to express our sincerest apologies for the knob cover being an ineffective deterrent. Please contact our Consumer Care Department at 800-544-1108 and we'll address this issue accordingly.

Terrible - impossible to get off without breaking
I've used child proof door knob covers before and these are poor by comparison. They are very hard to get off, choice is basically breaking the cover or risk scratching your door knob with the screwdriver.

Thanks for your review We're sorry to hear about the compatibility conflict. Regrettably, the doorknob covers are designed to fit most, not all doorknobs. Depending on the size or uniqueness of your doorknob it can present challenges.

Easy to install, extremely effective.
These safety 1st doorknob covers were easy to install and very effective. The material used on the product is durable and lightweight without causing damage to my current door handles. My baby is no longer able to open the door to the basement! I feel so much more at ease!

Simple and effective knob covers for child safety
These Safety 1st Parent Grip Door Knob Covers were easy to install and have been very durable. The clasps that snap into place securing the cover around the door knob were a little bit stiff, and it took me a minute or two to get them opened initially. Once I figured out the angle to open it, it was a breeze and they're very secure. I love the simplicity and I'm confident my they'll do their job keeping my child from going into rooms they shouldn't! My wife's smaller hands have a bit harder time griping the knob around the cover but thats the only complaint I have. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with these knob covers to test and review!

Durable, easy to use, effective
I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. These door knob covers are great for babyproofing! Easy to install, durable, and effective at keeping toddlers from opening doors. Definitely gives me peace of mind knowing that my toddler can't go into certain rooms without me. The one negative is that I don't love how they look.. but overall they're functional, easy and the qualify is good. Would recommend.

Essential for New Parents
These are a tried and true parenting must-have if you have doorknobs in your home. A very small price to pay to know your toddler won't be able to access rooms in your home you don't have baby proofed! Also excellent for keeping them in their room at night once in a toddler bed. Installs easily, minimal packaging, and easy to use. Keep in mind, may be challenging for someone with mobility issues or hand strength issues. My MIL who has arthritis in her hands has a hard time so keep in mind if you have caretakers who may need something else. Gets the job done though for a low price if you don't mind aesthetics. I received this product from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review.

Baby Proof Door Knob Covers
I received this product to test courtesy of Stellar Product Testing Panel. It is easy enough to install onto the knob, you just have to pinch the sides and it becomes 2 parts that easily click onto the knob. Once it is on, it is definitely a solution to my 18 month old son opening the door. It does make it somewhat difficult for me to open the door. Holding the knob with 2 fingers through the access holes makes it challenging to turn the knob. Overall, this is an easy enough solution if your child turning a doorknob has become a problem, but does make it more difficult to turn the knob (although this is the case with most baby proofing products).

Great Product!
These doorknob covers have been so helpful with a toddler who has figured out how to open doors. They help give us a piece of mind that everything is safe. They are easy to install and we will be adding more to our home.

Quick and Does the Trick!
My daughter kept sneaking into the dog food container in the closet and it was driving me crazy! Got one of these and all my problems are solved. Easy to get on but tricky enough that she won't be able to figure it out. I'm pleasantly surprised and very happy with this product. It feels sturdy and fits my door knobs without issue. Comes in a pack of three, so I will have plenty for other areas that need to stay off limits for little hands! I received this product as a part of the Stellar Product testing panel.

Good for knobs!
Most of our home does not have knobs that these fit on, but the ones they do, are great! It was a little difficult for myself to figure out how to put them on, so I know my child will struggle to get them off or be able to use the knob! I received this product to be a part of the stellar product testing panel

User-friendly Knob Covers
I received this baby proofing item from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Our 3 year old started leaving his room to wander the house at 2am. This door knob cover came in handy to keep him in his room during the night. It's easy to install and fit all the door knobs in our house. There are 2 rough circles to indicate where you apply pressure to release the clips when removing the covers; I found these very helpful and user-friendly! I gave it 4 stars because it worked well but our kid eventually figured out how to open the door with the cover installed.

Easy way to make your home safer!
These door knob covers detured our little one from opening the door and kept her safe. They were quick and easy to install. I didn't need any directions or tools! I liked that they are made from durable plastic and could be washed if needed. Our only complaint was that it was a little cumbersome to use the lock function on the door knob itself with the grip knob covers. This could also been seen as a plus, because it would also need difficult for a child to unlock the door knob! Thank you Stellar Product Testing Review for giving us this product to help make our home safer.

Door knob covers
I was given this baby proofing item to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The door knob covers were easy to install and were successful at keeping my toddler from using the door. However, they were also very difficult for adults to use as well and very difficult to remove. We will not likely continue to use them.

Great cover once isntalled
I received this baby proofing item from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The cover was great once installed. Taking the snaps off was difficult to take apart, but other than that, I did enjoy the cover. Still had access to the lock on my door while able to make sure my toddler couldn't open it.

Keeps the littles safe inside!
Safety 1st knob covers work to keep the littles inside. They snap on easily and work great for adults to use. One snag is that the hole to unlock the door is small so if you have long nails or big fingers it will be a struggle. Just squeeze and pull apart to remove! *I received this item as part of Stellar Products testing panel.*

Does the trick!
I received this product through Stellar Product Testing Panel and let me tell you they came at the right time! My 15 month old is getting into everything and has been trying to open all doors! To be honest, I felt a little dumb when I couldn't take the two plastic pieces apart at first to even put the product onto the door handle! But it just took some squeezing and wiggling and poof! After that it was super easy to put on the handle and take off. I feel like these will definitely be good enough quality to last through my son's curiosity stage and now with baby #2 on the way I'll be using them for her too! I really like the open holes on the sides to get a good grip on the actual door handle to open it. Overall, I do like the product and would totally recommend to other mom friends!

Must need baby proofing item!
The Safety 1st Parent Grip Knob Covers are great! I received them from Stellar Product Testing Panel last week and immediately put them on! My 11month old is just starting to walk which opens up a whole new level of baby proofing! She can reach things that are above ground level know making me an anxious mom! The basement door is something that has worried me for weeks now so it was the first door knob I covered. It was easy to install and feels very sturdy with thick plastic. I enjoy the simplicity of these covers, it doesn't take rocket science to use as I am up and down the basement stairs daily doing laundry! I would recommend the Safety 1st Parent Grip Knob Covers to any mama that has little ones and needs reliable baby proofing products!

They Look Nice & Work Well
I received these as part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel and used them in various areas of my home with 2 toddlers. Overall, I think they are a good product and get the job done. They were easy to install and didn't break or crack when I moved them around to other doors. I particularly like the shape of these covers. Some other doorknob covers look so clunky and these were a sleeker option that didn't stand out as much. I will say that these work excellently on the normal-sizes door knobs we have but some of our doors have knobs from the 70s which are quite a bit smaller and my toddler was able to stick her fingers through the holes since there was more room, and she pried it off (although it did take her a while). Overall, I would buy again because I think they look significantly nicer and work just as well as any other kind, provided there isn't room for tiny fingers to pull them apart. Great product.

Great way to child proof the front door!
After receiving the Safety 1st Parent Grip Knob Covers from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, the first place I installed them as on our front door- my toddler's newest conquest. The door knob covers are a simple design and clip together around the door knob very easily. However don't be fooled- they are strong! Sometimes a little too strong as they are not only child-proof but also parent-proof. It takes a little practice to learn the most comfortable and efficient technique to open the door with the covers on. If you're not careful, your fingers can get caught in the holes and your door knob turn resets. Nonetheless, we are keeping them on because we prefer a few extra seconds to open our front door as opposed to our toddler running around the front lawn.

Didn't work how I expected
I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel. While I loved the idea of this safety /baby proof item, it didn't live up to my expectations. I found it also parent proofed. The packaging claimed to fit most doors but all the door knobs in our home the product didn't fit correctly therefore we weren't able to turn the knobs and get it to work. I ended up taking it off the front door after 48 hours because it was so frustrating.
