Saltair Moisture Bound Dry Hair Shampoo - 4oz

I literally never (ever) go out of my way to write a review for a product, but this one is an exception. I have been an athlete and an avid sauna-lover for majority of my life and one of my greatest irritants was never jiving with any dry shampoo on the market - until this one. I am seconding another review on this product that it is the very first dry shampoo that I have used that gives me lots of volume, doesn't dry or irritate my scalp, doesn't leave white residue (especially on my black/dark brown hair), and leaves my hair feeling fresh and well-scented. I originally got turned on to Saltair through their hair oil (which I also love) and was feeling hopeful in trying some of their other products. It turns to be true that all their hair products are excellent. TLDR: highly recommend.

I am mildly obsessed with this scent! I’m not sure it’s better than other options on the market at the same price point, especially for the size, but I did have good results using it at night before bed and then using the cool shot on my hair dryer in the morning to go through my roots. I probably won’t pay full price for it again simply because other brands offer more product with the same/better efficacy at a similar price point- but that scent is *so* good. I’d give it a 3.5 due to the price point and size. It did work well for me, but not as well as pricier brands like Living Proof, IGK, or K18 but the price point difference there is significant. I have long, fine hair that easily weighed down & gets oily on day 2. This got me to day 3 with no issue but I did have to use quite a bit of it & reapply each night.

I’m surprised this is getting mixed reviews. This is probably the best dry shampoo I’ve ever used. It’s the only dry shampoo that doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy with residue. The smell is light and refreshing. It does leave a white cast that got on my clothes but came off easily. You do have to leave it in for a bit to allow it to absorb the oils but it works really great. I wash my hair once a week and this is a staple. I use it 2-3 days before wash day.

I like this dry shampoo! I feel like dry shampoo can be hard to get exactly right. You need something that really refreshes the hair and absorbs oils, but you also don't want it to leave a white cast or any other noticeable buildup. I feel like this one comes really, really close to the perfect balance. It definitely doesn't leave a white cast. The only time that I've noticed any kind of buildup, I had used another styling product after using it, and I think the two just didn't like each other. It does a good job of refreshing, but I do feel like I need to use a lot of product to get the results I want. But, it also smells great! And it's a great product overall at it's pricepoint. I'll probably buy it again

Great dry shampoo! Lasts all day. I am a brunette, so the product does require a little extra incorporating after product dries, but worth it. The smell is lovely just like the Saltair Santal Scent products.

This is my holy grail dry shampoo for the price and quality! Contrary to some other reviews, I think the smell is perfect! I have darker hair and it doesn’t leave a gray residue, plus it is super lightweight and you can’t even tell that it is in your hair! Pro tip: use before bed instead of in the morning before styling

I received item with no lid, a dent and black sticky all over it. Everything else was perfectly packaged in my order. It was like they picked this out of a trash can and freely threw in the box..

Formula is nice but you don’t get much product for the price. It doesn’t smell like santal really. It smells like baby powder with a super slight hint of santal.

I would say 0 stars ! Residue all over my hair ( even with waiting/ rubbing / brushing. Worst i tried in my life and true smell is so strong ! And can’t be sent back for refund !

This is a Great Dey shampoo for the price.

Finally! Have used pretty much every drugstore dry shampoo out there. My daughters and myself have really long, thick Hawaiian hair and need that refresh between washes. This not only smells great but actually refreshes our hair to look like we aren’t on day 2 or 3 post hair wash! It even tackled my preteen’s hair beautifully. Will buy again and again!

The smell is just the right amount with helping my hair smell fresher, it’s a great staple to have. On the pricier side but I prefer this over batiste or Eva nyc.

This smells so good and does not smell chemically. I have only used it twice so far but it definitely does what it should!

Poor design. The aerosol only works half the time. When it does you need a lot of product, the scent isn’t great either.

Absolutely love this stuff! Can finally go 3 days!
