Schwinn Cyclone Max Floor Pump - Gray

This is probably the worst product I’ve purchased this year. It doesn’t fit a standard valve stem, I couldn’t even get the needle it came with to fit.

I'm glad I realized the gauge was way off before I blew out the one tire/tube I tried it on. Will return.

The pump itself works just fine. The quick release valve is not very quick: it takes effort to attach and detach it from my bike. It takes a lot of effort getting the plastic adapter into and out of the quick release valve :(.

The pump head - the part that attaches to your bike valve stem, or basketball etc - is entirely made of plastic, including the locking bit inside that secures the connection. The plastic inside the schrader valve head is too large to accept a standard bike valve stem. It just does not fit. Terrible product.

I have a jogging stroller I purchased used, and the tire went flat after the first couple uses. I realize after purchasing this pump that a hand pump would’ve worked better but this ended up working fine. The one issue I kept running into was the hose kept popping off the stand because of the pressure from pumping. I thought it was kind of weird it kept coming off so easily but I just set my foot beside it to prevent it from coming out and it worked. I can’t imagine this thing lasting me very long but nothing these days really does anymore.

After only a few uses the pump broke... Everything on the hose end is plastic, cheap plastic. When you go to lock it on the valve stem it WILL break. I am astonished it lasted more than 1 use. I had to go to my mothers house and borrow her 30 year old bike pump that still works.

Couldn’t find the ball pump and remembered the bike pump has a ball attachment. It refuses to come out and the tip ended up breaking off the attachment. I now have a $30 piece of trash.

I’m confused because it said this is for ALL bikes and specifically list Cruisers. I have a beach cruiser- Margaritaville Jimmy Buffet Cruiser and it did not fit at all. If you have one of these bikes, it won’t work. I thought going for the most expensive pump in the store, I’d be good, but it is not made for all bikes as it states.

First time using and the gage was 20+ PSI off. Blew up my brand new tire. Don’t be tempted by the cheap price, you get what you pay for.

I have had two of these. Both have broken, in the same way: the pumping tube exploded. The first one I used for a year then it went out on me. I like the overall feel of it so I got another one and the second one only lasted a few months before, boom, the tube pops again. So, it’s a good pump when it works, but I don’t think it’s made very well.

Doesn't fit; latch on to bike tire valve, overrated!

Shrader is too small and doesn’t fit over the valve. That’s a pretty basic need in order for a tire pump to work. Don’t waste money or time with hassle of having to return!

Horrible - Did not work for bike

Terrible. My pump came with the sports needle inserted into the Schrader valve. No instructions on how to remove the needle. The pump is useless because I can’t use it as a bike pump for my bike tire with a schrader valve. There are no instructions on how to insert ore remove the sports needle. Super frustrated with this purchase.

I didn’t like anything from this item. Broke really quick. Messed up my bike tires. Had to replace them twice a month because something pointy was poking my tires while inflating. After trying and trying found out my tire had something stuck that came from the pump. The sharp thing broken from the air pump. Looks nice from outside but the product won’t work after a couple times using.

When this pump did work it was about 10psi low on the reading compared to several quages I own. I got maybe 5-6 uses out of it before something in the pump mechanism developed a leak. I can hear it in the plastic housing under the foot rests. Leak is too fast to effectively pump up a tire.

It worked fine for a while, and then broke. Couldn't get air into the bikes. I investigated and realized it is designed to fail. The screws at the bottom were loose from air pressure during pumping and air escapes from the connection. And because it is a metal screw screwed onto a plastic piece, it will not last. Disappointed at the poor design. And my pump is so new that all the packaging piece are still attached when it broke. I no longer have the receipt and we hardly use it maybe once a year. I just wanted the manufacturer to be aware of the problem and hopefully fix it in the future models. It is a shame for a manufacturer that specializes in bikes.

Quit working after 4 or 5 uses. Cheap. Go buy a nicer version.

The clamp-on head is too fat to get on to the valve on my Fox Float shock, which was the only thing I needed high pressure for.
