Brown grass to Green in a matter of days

Disease-Ex worked for my lawn
I'm located in Northern NJ. In 2024 brown spot devastated my front yard and I had to repair and reseed over 50% of the yard. Again, in early June 2025, I noticed early stages of brown spot and applied Disease-Ex at recommended curative setting. After 1 week, didn't notice much improvement, but fungus did not expand. Second week I noticed some improvement and same in 3rd week. It's now the 4th week and it's all gone and green grass once again! I plan to apply another application in a few weeks as preventative. I got lucky and caught brown spot early on. I also stopped using my E-Go electric mulching mower as not to spread fungus to other parts of the yard. Last 4 weeks I have been using my Honda mower and bagging. All good now and very pleased with my actions and Disease-Ex.

Expensive with mixed results
Not completely effective. I have applied it twice at the treatment dosage. Some areas have had zero improvement.

Doesn’t do what it says - stay away from it
I used this product and I’m actually afraid that it killed my grass instead of reviving it. I have never had the brown spots and patches that I do now since using this product. They multiplied. Absolutely disgusted by what has happened since applying this to my lawn, never again. Now I have to go spend MORE money to get a better product to fix the damage that was done by using this stuff. Stay far away from it or you’ll regret it.

Product not effective
I bought this for dollar spot fungus. This product comes up as an option when you search for a product to address this type fungus. Unfortunately a waste of money. Today I bought a competitive brand. Hopefully have better results.

At best an average product.
I applied this product early May; it’s now 4 weeks and my grass is still fighting disease. I’ll try one more application and if it helps before putting Scott’s summarizer down.

As long as favorable conditions exist for disease (typically high humidity or moisture and heat), you can repeat applications every 14-28 applying no more than 37 lbs of product per 1,000 sq. ft. Best insurance for preventing thousands in re sod
Disease will kill your St Auugustine lawn. Then the bugs come to finish it off. I use Disease X so this doesn't happen. Stops existing scourage and prevents damage to replacement turf. It's what you need 'cause the spray companies do fertilizer and weed killer but NO disease application.

This product is absolutely incredible!
After applying I noticed incredible improvement within 5 days! Brown patch was spreading like fire from the neighbors lawn, this product stopped it immediately and it’s getter better and darker green everyday. Cannot wait for 14 days to reapply and continue to watch it improve. Tried everything and every brand this is the end all to the fungus!

Disappointed
I purchased this product to combat red thread disease. I used Scott's Elite spreader to apply at the recommended setting. The product is either too dense or slightly damp and would barely discharge from my spreader. I am considering whether to return it to the store for a refund.

Consistent results that work
I always apply this in the early spring, and then every 30 days afterwards until about the end of September, my lawn stays consistently green without any diseases, before I use this, I used to have problems with yellow spots and areas that would just die off. Since applying disease-ex , People are always asking me how I get my lawn to look so good. I just tell them I’m using the Scott’s product according to the directions, my lawn looks consistently better than all my neighbors who allow their gardeners to apply whatever unknown products. I cannot over emphasize the importance of disease-ex in maintaining healthy And vigorous grass.

Coverage rate untrue
Coverage rate of 5,000 square feet not even close. One bag at preventative rate (5,000 sq.ft.) barely covered 2,200 square feet. I used a Scotts drop spreader and the calibration is correct. I know it depends on how fast you walk (and I walked fast) but I must have needed to run like an Olympian.
