Passed my sons Newton mattress onto baby #2 and needed a new mattress for his bed. Got this one because it was reasonably priced. It does the job and it relatively easy to clean (we just spray it and wipe it down). But after three months it already has a pretty significant sag in the middle where my 2 year old sleeps.

Spend about 10 dollars more and get a much superior model, the "Serta Perfect Sleeper Comfort Deluxe Crib & Toddler Mattress". Not firm at all, the ends fold up when being using. I have returned this and got the other mattress mentioned above.

This turned out to be a much nicer mattress than the one my toddler got. Lol. It’s got a fabric outside, not plastic like other ones. It’s got some slight cushiness to it, but still very firm. It’s a bit bigger than some standard crib sheets, and I found only the larger brands that aren’t 100% cotton will fit it. The 100% can be put on, but with a ton of effort. Sweet Jojo brand sheets fit it the best.

Purposely waited on writing this review. Bought this mattress march 2021 noticed the dip beginning oct2022. Toddler sleeps in The same position so I’m assuming that’s the reason for the dip in the center for our mattress. I’d say it had a good run. We did however rotate and flip over for even use so maybe that’s why our mattress lasted longer than some of the other reviews I’ve seen on here.

The price point seemed average and I loved that we were buying Serta. However, I bought this in October last year. My son was born in April of this year and just started using the mattress daily as of July. The mattress is already sinking in the middle. He’s not even 17lbs at 6 months and has only been using it 3 months when he transitioned over from bassinet to crib. I won’t be buying Serta again unfortunately.
