So far it's only been washed once and in use. It fits the crib mattress well but I am finding it a tiny bit harder to get the sheets on but the sheets fit nice & tight once I get them on.

Have used several mattress protectors having been a foster parent for a few years and I will say this has been a great product. It protects the mattress and is soft enough that the baby/toddler doesn't feel like they are sleeping on plastic.
