Q: Do these sheets biodegrade?

A: That is a great question. We recently updated our fabric softener sheets changing the sheet material from the brown paper to a plant-based rayon material, largely because of improved efficacy. While our new sheets are no longer compostable, our new soft white sheet itself is 100% plant-based.

submitted byOnlineTargetShopper - 3 years agoA: No. Rayon, the main fiber in these sheets, is semi-synthetic. Only organic materials can be composted; synthetics cannot. This means that this product is not compostable or “biodegradable.”

A: The texturized bumpy sheets worked great at removing pet hair from fabric. I feel like the smooth sheets don’t.

Q: Are the sheets still texturized? I have two boxes. One are with bumpy textured sheets which are great at getting the pet hair off our clothes. The smooth sheets don’t work as well.

While our new sheets are no longer compostable, our new soft white sheet itself is 100% plant-based. To communicate the high level of plant-based ingredients and our commitment to reducing our dependence on fossil fuels we certify our products with the USDA Biopreferred Program. This program calculates the percentage of plant-based ingredients with a +/- 3% margin of error. This means that the value you see on the package and on our website may be 3% less than it actually is. In the case of our new fabric softener sheets about 1% of the total sheet comes from a synthetic source, but we claim 97% through the USDA program. We hope this helps!

A: Thanks for reaching out. Use a single sheet with each load. Pull sheet apart at perforation to reduce risk of blocking dryer vent. Place in dryer with wet clothing. Discard used fabric softener sheet in trash receptacle. Safe when used as directed. We hope this helps!

I have noticed no difference in the other cleaning products i use to wash clothes except the scent. Maybe that good thing. lol. Anyway whole sheet for regular load and half a sheet for small load. Tissue one in add clothes and away you go. I like them. Haven’t check prices but will use again of affordable compared to Gain liquid.

If you follow the instructions they dissolve and work . I didn’t have stains though so I can not speak on that . I wish they smelled a little stronger . I like my clothes to smell nice and fresh .

I didn’t leave any residue on the clothes which is great and the fragrance is not overpowering on the clothes either. In fact, is more like fragrance free, I like it because I usually avoid Fragrances. The eco-friendly packaging is definitely another plus point for this product. I’ll definitely recommend for those families that are trying to reduce plastic and eco-friendly lifestyle.

I just love these! The sheet itself is big and the texture is so soft. I feel like I have to use multiple sheets for my loads with other brands, but not these. One or two sheets tops is all I need! The scent is so relaxing without being overwhelming. I love these ingredients vs some other brands. They leave my laundry smelling great and soft to touch. These are a staple in my laundry routine.

This lavender scented laundry detergent arrived with some apprehension on my part. However, the lavender scented laundry detergent is very subtle, even with two sheets used. I really like the idea of these sheets especially if you’re traveling to somewhere with on site laundry as an option. It’s obvious, mess-free presentation is a huge plus. No drippy liquids and no pods that might clog drains. As for effectiveness, we honestly don’t have overly soiled clothes so as for stain removal etc, the jury is somewhat out on that. Overall, highly recommend.

But once I received these Seventh Generation laundry detergent sheets, I couldn't wait to try them, and I really liked them. They did give me a bit of a headache, and I also have to be cautious with my cats around certain scents. I really like that they are mess-free and easy to use.
