This is THE BEST vacuum! It works great, changes from tile, to wood to carpet so easy! I also love the hands free debris empty suction it does! I cannot say enough good about it!

I bought it for 250$ and it's worth every cent! I'm glad I bought it! Automatic-empty is fire. The suction is powerful and the battery is durable.

ordered online and received it timely. opened the box and discovered it was used. I had to drive 30 miles for a replacement. The vacuum works great though.

This is a great vacuum. I purchased add a gift for someone and they loved it. It has a suction feature once it’s home back into its port. Great buy

Had this vacuum a month, I leant it again the kitchen bench and it slowly slid down and hit the ground and the whole handle snapped off. My Dyson would fall all the time and never had any damage, this vacuum is too fragile not durable

This item broke within one month of opening the box. The cords are falling out from the attached handle vacuum part and since the return window is closed they won’t do anything about it

I am so confused by the positive comments. This vacuum has a little bin area that collects sand / dust and you CANNOT clean it. Look into it because it’s a constant complain. Another complaint I missed was the magnet on the back after it self empties does not close so every-time you vacuum you have to close it. It has opened while I was vacuuming and everything came out from the back. Target accepted the return and refunded me because it was less than 30 days. Target gets my 5 stars on customer service but Shark clean & empty vacuum 0 stars.

Where do I even begin. 1 the dust cup is tiny. This vacuum might be okay for a dorm room except the only way to charge it is the gigantic base it has to go on (also it has to be fully assembled, you cannot just charge the handheld part even if that’s what you usually use) 2. The trap door to the what I guess is the overflow area constantly getting something caught in the magnetic latch so the entire thing doesn’t close, and guess what happens? Almost suction and all the dirt that comes in goes right out the trap door. 3. It is so top heavy that it puts pressure on the joints & as with many stick vacuums it causes them to become weak and lose suction over time. 3. The stick itself is extremely narrow. Very easily clogged and good luck vacuuming anything bigger than dust. 4. The dust cup filter gets clogged so easily with literally anything. This means several times during cleaning you will have to go open up (must be emptied because of the design) and pull all the stuff off the filter. But don’t worry, you’ll be emptying it multiple times anyway because it only holds about a cup of debris. 5. The auto empty feature is incredibly loud and just creates another filter to clean and a huge amount of debris to dump (if you’re even lucky enough for it to be full without having to manually dump the cup 5x a day. 6. The battery doesn’t last long at all on regular mode, forget the boost mode. 7. The sensor doesn’t work correctly so it is always using the carpet spin brush on my hardwood floors (which is so loud btw) 8. Doesn’t work on long/high pile rugs/carpet. Doesn’t pick anything up even if you’re strong enough to push and pull it around because the motorized part is too weak. (Compare this to my corded version which propels itself). Stick to the corded Sharks, they really are great vacuums, I’ve never owned a dud. This is the third cordless shark that has disappointed me. For the price you should be getting the quality behind the Shark name. They put out so many different models constantly it gets confusing & it just goes to show that they didn’t do enough consumer testing & redesign. We are the guinea pigs. That’s why they have so many models now. None are good enough to stay alive. Be warned even the best cordless ones from Shark will only last a couple years. They should be lasting 7 years even with daily use as long as they are maintained (clean filters, remove clogs, don’t get wet) Such a shame because I have been a fan and all my family and friends bought them on my suggestion.

More of a big dust buster. This is not a vacuum meant for serious house cleaning. Run time is fine, having dirt sucked down into bin is cool, but overall this vacuum is not going to cut it as your only vacuum. Our house is over 2,000 sq ft and I'd have to dump the cup 4-5 on relatively clean floors. Fine dirt or flour gums up all the filters. Same goes for any drop of moisture. Also the magnet closure of the dirt cup will find any piece of metal and cause the flap to not close. Overall you'd be better off with any bag or canister vacuum. Unless you want a large dust buster that takes up a bunch of room in your house.

Had it 12 months Will be looking to replace it as the suction isn’t the greatest for larger spills. Also no replacements for filters.

I've had Dyson before and I was not impressed. Moved onto Shark and I've been very happy. This is my first stick vaccum purchase. My gboyfriend had the Dyson stick vaccum and its ok, I've had it miss some fine dust/particles, so far this one has not. I will say I was very confused when it auto detected the carpent from the hardwood and went into beast mode, I thought something was wrong but no, it was just doing its job and apparently doing it well. I showed my BF what the dyson missed in the shark dust cannister and he was very shocked. I hope this vacuum keep this same energy. Oh and 100% worth mentioning, the auto empty, so convienient.

Absolutely love the versatility with the switching from hardwood to carpet automatically. The self emptying on the base is amazing!

I have always used shark products. I love the auto empty feature however over time some tiny pieces of metal have somehow come loose and get attached to the magnet that helps the trap door stay closed. That is annoying. Also, on some rugs and surfaces it tends to just MOVE the dirt around instead of picking it up. Also the cord for the auto empty feature isn’t long enough since you have to keep it plugged in to use it…I tried to put in laundry room but the plugs are higher up in this area and it wouldn’t reach. Also there’s nothing to hold the attachments or even one attachment onto the actual vac so you have when you are going around the house. You have to carry it with you! Not as great as what the $ equaled

Absolutely love this vacuum! Definitely meets all the hype about it! Works on both my laminate flooring downstairs and carpet upstairs and stairs! I had been looking for awhile but didn't think a stick vacuum could do the job as well, But I was so wrong! My daughter told me shark was good and I'm glad I listened and I bought it! I'm 65 yrs old and needed something exactly like this. I definitely recommend it!

First Shark and first cordless vacuum cleaner. Previously had a Dyson and wasn’t as impressed as I am with this one. Love the auto emptying feature and the floor stand rather than having to attach it to the wall. Highly recommend!!

I have used this a few times now. It is POWERFUL and easy to use. Just set it on the other part and BAM dirt is sucked into the base. Easy to open and clean. Only complaint is that the dirty cup is a bit small.

We bought the auto empty as a replacement for a previous Shark which worked well. This one is lighter, has more power, and does have the convenience of automatically switching power levels between bare floor and carpet. The major flaw is that dog hair winds itself around the cone filter in the receptacle, and DOES NOT get sucked into the auto empty bin after docking. The promotional material specifically says this model has improved handling of pet hair, and toots its horn about the auto empty feature, so I consider this an overall failure, if not false advertising. The holding bin of this new one is smaller than our older shark, meaning it has to be emptied EVERY TIME we use it. Buyer beware.

My husband surprised me with the vacuumed. I am totally spoiled now. I have always wanted a stick vacume I definitely recommend the shark BU3120 . It is an Amazing Product . It is the Best Vacume I have ever owned .
