I own a smaller RV where storage space is limited. I tried using a stick vac but it was awkward to use and a pain to switch tools. I found the Shark MessMaster portable wet/dry vacuum while searching for small canister vacuum and thought it might be a good option to try. The features I like the most are the ability to use any type of bag for debris containment, on board tool storage, included attachments that can manage just about anything I encounter on my RV including the extension wands that make this vacuum easy to use as a regular vacuum and the fact that the inch and a half nozzle size is standard and you can add tools from anywhere. No need to be locked in to just Shark attachments. It is not as quiet as a household type vacuum but certainly livable.

I am an STR cleaner. I purchased this machine specifically for use at one STR that has a freezer that always has excess dirty, frozen ice in it. It's hard to remove. I end up having to pour in water to melt the ice but then removing the water is a pain. This machine is a game changer. It has also been used for quick clean up of spills and to remover water from a clogged drain. So handy and the power surprised me. The tools actually work well

They missed the mark on this one. Poor design with short hose and the floating ball constantly trips shutting off suction. Dustbin is empty, vacuum brand new.

But no. The hose is way too short, made it very hard on my lower back to cart around. Only good thing is it is a wet and dry vacuum combination.

It's small and easily portable around the areas of your home that you need it. My son spilt chips in his car seat which during the duration of the ride got squished in. Out comes the Shark Mess Master and they are gone. It comes perfectly packaged, super easy to assemble and does the job fast. The MOST AMAZING feature is not having to get your hands dirty cleaning any filters or washing out dirty stinky containers. For a small portable machine it sure packs a punch, making a quick job of sucking up a dropped raw egg on the ground to German Shepherd fur attached to fluffy carpet. You won't be disappointed.

It was (surprisingly) lightweight and can be used for spills, pet vomit, and to get into those hard-to-reach places. The self-clean mechanism is very neat! All in all, definitely recommend!

We have used the machine to clean the cars a few times now, one of the downfalls of this machine is it could have had a longer cord and maybe a little more suction would be good. Worked well on the mats etc of car but did struggle to get some of the sand/dirt from the carpet of the car. Works great in the shed and hubby said he would buy another, he likes the wet/dry option.

Its good for small spaces and crevices, but trying to do the main vacuuming with the attachments available, sees it hard. The vacuum came with 3 separate attachments, great for small spaces and under the couch edges and wall edges. I used this to clean/ wash a large carpet mat outside and the suction was amazing! I saturated the rug and you'll see the dirty water that came out of it in the video, absolutely gross. This came in handy when my washing machine hose was blocked also and suctioned out the dirt and grime perfectly, washed it afterwards and let it dry and worked perfectly the next day. It comes with a couple of liner bags for when you use it for water or cleaning wet surfaces, this stopped the inside getting wet and gross. The only other thing I disliked was having to carry it around while trying to vacuum, but that's just me. Great size cord. Overall, recommend, great for cleaning cars out too.

I'm pretty clumsy and drop lots of food, knock my cats water, knock drinks, drop my almond milk carton in the morning when making coffee to go, or the coffee pick misses the knock box. Truthfully I'm sick of buying paper towel to throw it in the trash. It also doesn't fully absorb and I use too much to be economical. My car is messy and my driving snack find their way into crevices so a great tool is what I was missing from my cleaning tool kit. I've tested the MessMaster with dry coffee grinds on offcut carpet to test suction, I've cleaned my car mats and seats with ease. However I did notice there was some loss of suction occasionally. I wish it came with the car cleaning tools as part of the standard kit as I can see many people using MessMaster to tackle cars after beach trips, kids mess etc and the crevice tool the standard kit has is not quite slim enough. I tried to purchase the car kit but not available yet.
