Q: Can it get into corners?

A: No Not really. It mops well , but it’s hard getting into corners because the pads are circular and bump into a wall when trying to reach the tight corners

A: We would like to let you know to fill the water tank you would need to pull the lid down on the top of the water tank (located on the back of the unit) and then using a filling flask or cup pour the water into the tank. Then once filled to the Max fill line close the lid.

Q: The product description say use on all "sealed" surfaces. Is the S7001TGT safe for use on grout that is not sealed.

I have terrazzo floors. All it did was move the dirt around and did not get any stuck on dirt spots out. This would be good for someone’s extra clean laminate floors but not someone with hard floors and kids/pets.

The hard floor mop started making a very loud noise about 5months after purchase. I called shark- did a live chat - showing the mop etc- only to be told “well it still works”. So basically I was honest - said it still spins- now I can still use the mop in hopes it doesn’t catch my house on fire. I was shocked and disappointed- would most definitely not buy again! Keep in mind I have only used this mop once a week in my kitchen- on tile only- so- doing the math- 4xamonth -it is around 24 times when it started making the noise.

I generally like this steam and scrub mop, however I do wish that it was designer better to be able to get in the corners. I think it does well in the areas it can reach - it heats up quickly, has an adequately long cord. I had to purchase some extra cleaning pads as I change them frequently when I mop.

I’m surprisingly happy with this! I was hesitant because I’ve had steam mops in the past that didnt seem to clean very week, however this one definitely does. And it’s lightweight, easy to lift up and down stairs.

I really loved this mop when it worked but was sadly disappointed that it stopped working after just a few months. This was my second Shark steam mop in two years that just stopped producing steam after a few months. I had one that I purchased 10 years ago that lasted so they clearly don’t make them like they used to… I’m on to trying a different brand.
