A: Pad lifespan is affected by factors such as the frequency of use, type of cleaning (heavy or light), and how often the pads are washed and dried. Under normal household conditions, when using the product for routine cleaning a few times per week, we recommend replacing the pads every 3 to 4 months. The washable pad costs $19.99, and the part number is P1000C5.

Modern and lightweight!
With 4 kids and 2 wild cats who love to leave me presents this Shark SteamSpot steam mop has been a miracle for my house. With baby crawling and walking everywhere, this was super easy to get started and use right away. I love how lightweight overall the steam mop is. XL removable water tank that fills 16.9 fl oz of water (or 500ml). I love that its chemical free and just use water! Comes with 2 washable pads that doesn't get ruined after several washes. Very simple to stick them on and steam away the dirty floor. I've tried this on varies of floors, from tiles to hardwood to laminate. Works excellent on all! Too bad it doesn't steam the carpets hah. This steam mop has 3 modes for steaming, I tend to use maximum level and it does a fantastic job. I love how it lasts to cover my entire kitchen, living room and laundry room plus halls before I need to add more water! That's a lot, with the fact I have a spacious home with lots of space. If you press the handle, it releases more steam for extra spot on cleaning! I can't believe I didn't have this steam mop sooner! All those vacuums I've ever owned didn't do it's justice comparing to this product. Love steaming as it kills those germs. One way I'd improve this product is having the cord being a retractable cord for easier to manage cord. The cord itself is long and there are hooks to wrap it around when cleaning or putting it away but I think a retractable cord would be a better design.

Always buy Shark Ninja products absolutely love their products but this time Shark blew it out of the park with their Shark steamer mop recieved it today easy to assemble put distilled water in small tank i love the fact that ii is light weight i have a bad back did my whole main floor been using mop and pail my whole life thinking my floors were clean now with Shark Steam mop my.floors are clean and my grandson can crawl around once he starts crawling both my kids are getting Shark Steam mops for Christmas last year they both got Ninja slushie machines Thank you Shark Linda Vaisanen ❤️

Disappointed — Broke After Only Three Years with L
I’m really disappointed with this Shark steam mop. I’ve had it S3973 for only about three years, and I use it very lightly — maybe once or twice a month. Despite that, it suddenly stopped working properly. The steam now leaks from the top where the water tank connects to the mop body, and almost no steam comes out from the mop head. I expected a Shark product to last much longer, especially with such minimal use. It’s frustrating to see it fail so soon. Definitely not worth the price for the quality and durability.

Best little steam mop in Texas
I love this steam mop it is so light and easy to use it makes doing the floors a breeze. I've also used it in places like the shower on the tiles and it worked its magic in there as well. I do not think they were intended for that purpose, but it works. This is my second steam mop from shark. My first one was many years ago and I used it till it stopped but, I figure after 14 years I got my money's worth out of it and got a new one. The only thing I would change is make the cord longer.

I love this steam mop’
I ordered my stem mop last month and I’m obsessed with it, I have three little ones and a large dog and this has been a total lifesaver. It heats up instantly and I’m able to mop my entire house in no time. I really appreciate the steam blaster, it’s actually gotten rid of stains that I thought were permanent on my tile floors. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned other steam mops previously and was never impressed - the included pads were never durable or capable of scrubbing, the steam wasn't consistent, it didn't clean any better than a normal mop, etc. Shark's version however? My mind is BLOWN. Decided to give it a try on my bathroom floors that are forever sticky with hair product and makeup. I gave it a quick vacuum and fired up the SteamSpot and the floor was SPOTLESS in a matter of minutes. The blast of steam I can direct where I please is a game changer and not only removed every bit of dirt and residue, but it gave a truly clean/nearly sanitized feeling. I'm in love

My forever floor cleaner!
I just purchased the Shark Steamer 1000. After years of sitting on my floor on a towel and scooting with my bucket of water, vinegar and a couple drips of Dawn, decided at age 79 i couldn't do that any more. Tried a ?Libman? Mop but excess water remained after wringing it out and still had to towel dry. This Shark product was affirdable, easy to you and did the job exactly as I was seeking with one step. Perfect weight, only water, just enough steam to lift the dirt and clean and minimal moistness to dry without manual drying and best of all NO STREAKING OR RESIDILUAL WATER SPOTS. Thank you Shark. Quick Drying Steam Mop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The steamer heats up very quickly and it has 3 different settings. It’s pretty light weight and can be transported from room to room with little mess. I love that it doesn’t get my tile floors soaked or require a long dry time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whew! My floors are dirty! But I don’t exactly know that this steam mop is any better than a regular mop with hot water. It seems like a pretty durable reusable/washable pad so I can see where than would be more sanitary. Would like for this to be a rechargeable battery so as not to be tied to the wall socket above my sink as that’s the only places I have outlets in my kitchen. Overall, it doesn’t seem like something I would normally just purchase.

It comes with one washable floor mop pad and then one floor mop pad that is more suitable to scrubbing. I used the scrubbing one in my kitchen on a tough spot. The scrubbing texture and steam cleaned the spot right up. It’s an effective product, that is easy to fill up and use. It is durable.. it is versatile and I can use it on different surfaces.
