Sharper Image Desktop Cordless Handheld Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little vacuum does a great job at picking up dust and debris on my desk! For starters, it has a sleek, modern look and is lightweight. It’s cordless and rechargeable, and it has two power modes. Both modes are not too noisy. One charge lasts for quite some time! The unit includes an attachment to get into tight spaces like keyboards. It also includes a dustbin which makes it easy to clean. Overall, this is a must have for any office! I highly recommend it!

Was not that effective at picking up dander and particles from laptop keyboard but maybe would be better with a less low profile model? Only would recommend if you’re ok with it working somewhat

I do find it extremely difficult to open to remove the collected items. Some of the dirt get stuck around the fan. It's definitely a fun item.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, This works surprisingly well. Better than I had expected. Suction is surprisingly good for such a small vacuum. Convenient size, easy to use and a quick empty dustbin. The vacuum is made of plastic but doesn't feel cheaply made. It has a rechargeable battery but the battery life lasts about 15-20 minutes on full power mode and about 30-35 minutes on low. It also makes decent amount of noise but not to the point where it gets annoying. This is great for picking up light messes of eraser shavings, toaster/cat food crumbs, coffee granules, bits of paper, glitter, stray pet hairs, and the occasional misplaced bead. It is a nice compact vacuum that you can use over your artwork without smudging any pencil lines. The brushes on the bottom of the vacuum help loosen up any debris. It also came with included accessories like a crevice tool to help get into corners and places that the vacuum is unable to get into without it and a cleaning brush to help clean around your mini vacuum The most important aspect is that it definitely does the job intended, with the suction being strong enough to pick up the little things in its vicinity and a great solution to dealing with little messes/crumbs/fur on a daily basis. This fits on my desk nicely and with its nice design it doesn't make it stand out as being a vacuum without closer inspection.

It did a decent job of sucking up stuff on the high setting, but it was kind of noisy. The battery also didn't last all that long when on high. The low power mode didn't suck up debris as well, but the battery did last much longer on low setting.

It cleans up my laptop keyboard and work space very efficiently, though it isn’t quite as effective with my desktop keyboard where the area behind the keys is deeper. It is also very handy in removing pet hair from furniture just as a quick touch up. It holds a charge for a decent amount of time, and recharges rapidly. The only thing I do not like about it is that it is quite difficult to open for emptying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested the Sharper Image desktop rechargeable USB vacuum. I was interested in using this gadget at my own desk. The unit charges fairly quickly and has LEDs to indicate a charging/ fully charged status. The suction of the unit is poor at best. I was disappointed in its inability to pick up even the smallest object, in this case, a single loose staple. It will pick up dust and it will also deposit that same dust in small brush shaped circles in its wake. The compartment that contains the debris picked up by the vacuum is contained in the bottom of the unit. It’s not an intuitive design to remove the debris container and requires reading the instructions to accomplish. Be advised you will probably get more dust and dirt on yourself than the trash can when trying to empty the unit. Not a winner

The battery lasts long especially since each use isn’t that long. It is easy to pack in a backpack to bring to work. The only downside is it is kind of loud but to me that doesn’t matter since I don’t use it that long.

I have used it to vacuum up all the cat hair on my nightstand and it actually worked! It has a very quiet sound and two different suction levels. It also comes with a USB charger, but you’ll need a box to plug it into.

It worked well in the car. However, it is hard to take apart so you can empty the dustbin. This makes it very messy to empty. After using, this product seems more of a novelty item and I probably won't use it that much.
