A: We do not make a Tear-Free claim in our products at this time. However, our products do not contain any synthetic ingredients, such as synthetic alkyl polyethoxylates and/or alkyl phenol polyethoxylates, which can be common in tear-free shampoos. Our products are formulated to be gentle on baby’s delicate skin, using natural, certified organic and ethically sourced ingredients that soften and smooth. Our products do not contain any parabens, sulfates, phthalates, paraffin, formaldehyde, miner oil, petroleum, DEA, silicone, synthetic fragrance or artificial color.

I’ve been using this product for years. Faithfully. It was an amazing product line. I’m so disappointed that I have to find a new brand. Not sure if it’s the new parent company, but the formula is not the same. The ingredients aren’t the same, they’ve changed the smell - it’s barely there, my kiddo doesn’t even smell clean. The color is off; it’s the consistency of water. There’s no lather so you’re inclined to use more product, such a waste. We are not buying the same product and it’s a shame.

I liked this it was 5 stars but they completely changed the ingredients last I bought it. Bottle with yellowish product worked good on my thin fine hair. Recently tried on my daughter (used to eucerin baby sensitive unscented wash) and made her hair so soft. New bottle purchased October 2022 has white clear product instead of yellowish. New bottle got rid of a bunch of ingredients like sweet pea, and the 3 flower extracts and has new ingredients like phenoxyethanol, polyquaternium-10, peg-10 disterate. Not sure if those are good or bad but all those changes how could it work the same? I guess I will see but kind of sad I spent months maybe years trying to find a good shampoo and now it changed. Update: product is thinner and doesn’t lather as well.

I bought this shampoo on a whim after I ran out of my usual baby wash. Suddenly my neck broke out in a horrible rash, almost looked like a chemical burn. Couldn't figure out what was causing it, until I realized this was the only new product I had added to our routine. I did a patch test and sure enough, I broke out in a rash there too. I've never had any allergic reactions to skin care before so this was a huge shock to me. The scent is alright, although it doesn't stick around and the lather isn't very good either. The moisturizing element of this product is good with it's primary ingredient being shae butter as advertised. I suspect this reaction came from the fragrance although I've never been bothered by fragrance before. If you buy this product do a patch test.

So disappointed overall. The smell from the bottle is great but it literally is so light you can’t even smell it in baby’s hair afterwards. Their hair almost smells unwashed :/ I also don’t find it to be conditioning/ hydrating at all. For the price you pay I don’t think it’s worth it at all.

They changed the formula when they changed the dispenser! I have been using this for going on 5 years, 3 kids later. Now, it settles at the bottom and you have to shake it vigorously to mix for it to settle again immediately after. We lose about a quarter of the bottle because the mixture that settles does not form suds and is difficult to rinse off! I purchased 4 bottles this last time and I can’t even force myself to use the last two. Hate it, now I am searching for a replacement body wash for the kiddos.

I love this wash. I was having a problem with other natural baby washes drying out my 15mo wavy hair and skin. This washes well and doesn’t leave a crunchy rats nest in the back of her head. There is a slight fragrance but I don’t mind it at all (super sensitive nose) but due to that I can’t use this on my 3yo eczema prone skin.

Our baby had awful cradle cap and spotted balding but after a couple months (4-6 months old) using this shampoo and conditioner she had hair growing in thicker and healthier. She’s now 13 months with a full head of hair and even some curls starting to form! The smell is my favorite thing about this product, after a bath it’s so nice to cuddle her up and smell the coconut :)
