When my daughter found out she had wavy hair not frizz she started using this brand and said it really helped her hair. One thing that she didn't like was that it didn't lather a lot as she was hoping for. It was still a good shampoo so I recommend buying it!

I recently tried out Shea Moisture's Coconut & Hibiscus Curl and Shine Shampoo, and it left me quite impressed. My hair is thick, coarse, and falls into the 4C category, so I'm always on the lookout for products that can work well with my hair type. Here's what I found: Pros: Effective Cleansing: This shampoo did an excellent job of cleansing my hair, removing any buildup and leaving it feeling fresh and clean. Wonderful Scent: The coconut and hibiscus scent is absolutely amazing! It made the whole washing process a delight. Shine Booster: While it didn't add much in terms of curl definition, it did give my hair a lovely shine that lasted even after styling. Cons: Curl Definition: If you're looking for a shampoo to enhance your curl pattern, this might not be the best choice. It didn't do much in terms of defining my curls on its own. In summary, Shea Moisture's Coconut & Hibiscus Curl and Shine Shampoo is a great option for those with thick, coarse, 4C hair who want a thorough cleanse and some added shine. While it may not be a curl-defining superstar, its delightful scent and overall performance make it a worthwhile addition to your hair care routine.

this Curl and Shine Shea Moisture honestly made my hair so much more healthier than it was before. my natural hair is frizzy, puffy, thick, wavy, hair and when i decided to use Shea Moisture’s Curl and Shine shampoo it gave me Lucius curls that were shiny instead of dry.

They recently switched to a different size bottle, which sounds great! Unfortunately, I think they changed the formula, and the color of the shampoo is completely different than the old bottle. Now, it leaves my hair feeling really greasy. Very sad, this was my go-to!

Does what every basic “curly girl” shampoo will do. Absolutely nothing special. This is more personal preference, but also suds/foams way too much for me, and hair always feels very stripped of moisture after use.

I love the way it makes my hair smell and the shine it leaves. It did kind of dry my hair out more than other shampoos i’ve used, but using the conditioner after really moisturized my hair.
