It’s meh when using in a bowl. Food gets stuck under it as the pup eats so I have to take it out to let her finish. I bought it because she’s small and the slow feeder we had wasn’t slowing hee down, but this product oooked like there was more barriers to help that. It’s ok to use for distracting at bath time. Would be better if the bottom had a better seal to what you place it in/on

It was a good purchase for the first few months, but began to grow mold in the little hole in the middle, and I cleaned the product after every meal. I would reccomend one without the hole in the middle.

Love this slow feeder! We have seven fur babies. Some of them would just inhale their food. This has been a game changer. It’s saved us money. It’s super easy to clean (dish washer safe). The suction cups on the bottom help hold it in place while your fur baby is maneuvering all over.

This was pointless, we ended up returning as it did not suit our needs. They had a puzzle plate that worked so much better.

This slow feeder is awesome! My 55lb hound scarfs food down incredibly fast. This slow feeder makes her eat her meals in 7-10 minutes. She has no gas after eating now! The suctions cup actually work. It will not budge in your dog’s bowl. It’s easy to clean, cute and fits the Amazon basics dog bowl perfectly.

I just got this in the mail today and I love it !!! My dog used to eat his food and one gulp, literally! Now the slow feeder slowed his eating down by like 20-30 mins 🙌🏽

Works great! And fit my dogs bowl perfectly. He was annoyed that it took him longer to eat but at least we didn’t have to worry about tummy issues later.

My Frenchton has been gobbling up her food in 30 seconds or less, leading to gas and sometimes regurgitation. After not being able to find inserts at any of the big box pet stores, I came across this in Target. It sticks via multiple small suction cups to the bottom of her stainless bowl. Amazingly, she hasn’t gotten it to unstick yet, despite using her paws to move the silicone around to get to her kibble. It has extended her time at the food dish considerably as she has to wok to get all of her food, requiring her to eat more slowly. I am very please so far with this insert and the price. I cannot speak to longevity, but for the price, if I have to replace in 6 months, I wouldn’t be angry. She did look at me like I had grown another head when she first saw the insert, but it only took her about a minute before she began to fight with it to get her kibble out.
