You may want to check with your baby's doctor, but if you have any doubts about the safety of your water, bring the water to a rolling boil for 1 minute, cool, and then add to formula. If you have nonchlorinated or well water it is really important to have your water tested regularly before using it to make formula. Hope this helps! -The Similac Team

The lot code can be entered into our lot locator on similacrecall.com to help you. Since we make our products at several different sites, it’s difficult to list product names and know they were included.
