Make buttonholes in one easy step, whether you want to sew a dress, stitch up a pillow or create a tote. Basic accessories can be found in the removable storage compartment, including the new Sew Easy Foot which has an adjustable guide to help you guide fabric for sewing perfectly straight seams.
The Top Drop-in Bobbin is easy to see so you monitor your thread supply. Drop and Sew Simply place the wound bobbin into the bobbin holder, then guide the thread into the clearly marked threading path. No need to manually draw up the bobbin thread - when you start to sew, the machine will automatically pick up the bobbin thread for you, saving you time.
There is also a free arm, which makes it easy to hem trousers or other small projects like children's clothing. Includes

Wondering whether or when I'll need an upgrade
As retirement quickly approaches I bought this sewing machine to test the water as I try to find a hobby that will keep me occupied in retirement. I'm pretty impressed with my test results based on this machine coupled with the website and youtube tutorials of Nikki-PinCutSewStudio.com I am off an running and fairly obsessed with sewing projects which are coming out of my ears just 2 months after purchasing my Singer Simple 3337 Red Sewing Machine! I'm finding that issues that frustrated me when I sewed 40 years ago can be easily remedied by going back and following the instructions!

Disappointed
The sewing machine is actually very nice, however the automatic threader does not work- it will not catch the thread at all.

Sorry you are experiencing issues with this. A trick is, hold the threader to the left when pulling it down. Singer also have great videos on YouTube to show you how to use it. If you still experience issues, please call our customer support so we can help you with the threader. 1-800-474-6437

Singer Simple 3337 Red sewing machine
Works great. Easy to use. The foot pedal cord could be longer. If you could connect the machine to a table it wouldn’t matter that it is too light and moves while you’re trying to sew.

Very good machine
I gave this machine to my son this Christmas because it was on his wish list. I'm impressed with it. I have a very high end machine so I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of stitches it makes, the ease of use and the features that make sewing fun. My only problem at this point is that the cord for the pedal was so stiff and twisted coming out of the pedal that the pedal would not sit flat on the floor. I did notice that it was hard to remove from the packing foam so maybe it was crammed in there wrong. It seems to be relaxing flat again so hopefully it will be fine.

Not happy
This machine is all plastic, and the stitches are not consistent they are uneven.

An Answered Prayer!
An answered prayer! Easy to learn the new machine. I used my mother's Singer for years and had to learn how to use this one, as it is a little different. But it really didn't take too long. I'm so pleased! I am saving so much time making repairs and now I can efficiently complete the projects I plan. Thank you and God bless!

My Little Red Corvette
I have always been a 'Singer gal'....and I always will be. I bought this little red machine to have as a back-up for quilting, plus red is my color! I couldn't resist. I have an older Singer 7466 (which is FAB!!), but I wanted a simple, manual machine mainly for piecing and repairs. Also needed a lightweight machine to carry to my quilting group. Oh my goodness!! This thing is a tank - I'm actually quilting on it! My 7466 is jealous...I can feel the stares. Singer, you DO know sewing! Thank you! I also have my Mom's Singer from 1958...they're all workhorses!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omgoodness Singer 3337:Simple Mechanical Sewing Machine is fantastic. This is absolutely the simplest sewing machine I have ever sewn on. The treading and bobbin cheat sheet is just perfect with its easy follow instructions and step by step pictures. Its LED lighting makes it so easy to see, even for smaller button holes and stitching. One of my favorite parts is the large stitch dial. Having a wide variety of extra accessories in the box was amazing. The easy to carry handle gives me the opportunity to transport it to what ever room.

It works for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't sewn or used a sewing machine since home economics. I'm 35 and just wanted to be able to do fun little projects. This worked out well for me. I did have to watch the YouTube video on how to thread it but the video was super helpful and I was able to get that done. I like that it has a storage space built in for all the extra bits. It's not all metal so it's lightweight and easier to move around than my grandma's was. It did seem like the pedal was a little unresponsive until a certain spot was reached. I would pressed down little by little and there would be no movement until I finally got it down far enough and then it would start. Just seemed like I was pressing further than I should have to to get it to sew slowly.

Good for beginner sewing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has many options for stitching which was overwhelming at first. I watched lots of videos and rewatched them to try and get a better understanding of what I should do at first. Singer has many helpful videos about what to do and how to get started. I haven't used a sewing machine in years but have been looking for one for the last few years but didn't know which to get or where to get started and this couldn't have been a better choice. It came which lots of items but no starting thread which I thought was odd but again, I haven't sewn in a long time so maybe that's just how they come. It is smooth running after a few trials.

Smooth move
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Singer Sewing Machine was very easy to use. First time I have ever used a sewing machine and I was very comfortable with this one. I did hem some jeans and other clothes that needed fixing. Instructions are very easy to read. I loved the red color of it.

Super cute and functional!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, this Singer 3337 Simple Mechanical Sewing Machine is working very well. I love the red color and it's super cute. It is lightweight and easy to setup. The online videos are a life saver because I needed a refresher course. I am able to sew through thicker fabrics and have even used it to make a travelers' notebook. It's pretty much ready for use right out of box which is a plus for me. The threading process is easy too. I am really enjoying it and plan to use it for various other projects.

Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't sewn in about since middle school, but this was pretty easy to pick up and work with. This is a good basic machine for a beginner and adequate for most sewing projects. It actually sewed vinyl upholstery material very easily.

Lite weight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very handy and light weight machine and instructions was very easy to follow this is a great machine for someone just starting out learning to sew as myself. Actually himmed up some jeans for my first time and I have to say for never ever sewing they turned out great glad I have this sewing machine I definitely recommend this handy compact machine.
