A: It can work with grommets, however the rod is not perfectly round so beware the grommet might not run as smoothly on along the rod.

Was looking for a simple curtain rod for my son’s room. Great price and does the job, but understand that you get what you pay for. It definitely feels flimsy, and I’m not confident it would hold heavier full length curtains. There is also a section in the middle of the rod, to adjust the length. But this prevents you from being able to open/close curtains smoothly. Overall I’m happy with it because of the price, just manage your expectations.

Works well and easily. Only problem is that they bend easily too. Granted you can straighten then back into place. Don’t expect to place heavy curtains on them. Blackout curtains can hang just if they get pulled on the frames will bend.
