Cats love it!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cats love this scratcher. It’s sturdy and safe. They scratch and play on it and it saves my walls. It lasts a long time. It’s made of cardboard. They love the feel of it. You can sit it upright or lay it flat. It’s got catnip in it. Which my cats seem to like. And I like that’s it’s made with children and animals in mind to be safe.

Not her favorite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been a never ending struggle to get my cat to stop scratching at the furniture. But unfortunately to her nothing ever seems to compare to the corner of the couch. I was very excited to receive this corrugated cat scratcher & immediately took it out of the packaging, dropped catnip on it and gave it to my girl. She enjoyed sniffing the catnip & rolling around on the scratcher. But ultimately she didn't end up actually scratching it. Ive had it out for her ever since getting it and unfortunately she still scratches anything but the actual scratcher. This doesn't mean other kitties wouldn't use it. I think my girl is just a little quirky.

My cats love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my cats like it, but my black cat loves it! If he isn’t sharpening his claws he’s sitting or rubbing on it. I think the catnip infused in it gives my boy the zoomies and gets him all playful. Having indoor cats it’s always nice to change things up, so flipping this over gives them something new to play with/attack.

Great Cat Chair!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat loves cardboard, so I knew this would be the perfect thing. It took a while for her to get use to it though. It didn’t come with catnip to add, and I like to control the amount of catnip. She doesn’t like it and won’t use it when it is flipped into the incline position. She likes it sitting flat on the ground. She will scratch the bottom. Rub her cheeks on the corners and even chew on the corners. But her favorite thing to do - is just sit on it - like it’s her chair.

She will scratch it like crazy and then take a nap on it right after doing so! She has been using it for a few weeks now and still holding up great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually buy the flat scratchers for my cats, but I like these as they put the scratching at an angle, to add more diversity in how my cats sharpen their claws. They see to be attracted to it, as they use it over and over. It has different options of how you can place it, for different angles. My cats have been using it a lot! Would recommend!

Any normal cat would probably get a lot of use out of the SmartyKat Scratch Ladder....my cat Charlie is a real weirdo. I even put his paws on it to show how it's done, but he just runs away. I'll find someone in the family who's cat isn't a weirdo like Charlie because I know they will get much enjoyment out of it. I'm sorry he didn't care for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My cat was super excited to get to explore the SmartyKat scratch ladder and had fun scratching at it for the last week. It is adjustable to different positions of vertical, flat, or angled and is catnip infused to help attract my cat to scratch at the ladder versus my furniture. The pro was that it did the trick for a while but my cat's sharp claws have pretty much destroyed much of it into cardboard shreds and left a mess for me to sweep up. But no pet toy lasts forever so I'll give them some props for the fun my cat had. I love that it's made of recycled materials too. Overall, a good toy to use to help deter your cat from destroying your furniture.

As soon as we put it on the floor our cat immediately went to it and started scratching. Now they are very happy lounging on it and using it to scratch their nails. I love it because they prefer it over scratching our furniture. This to me is a win-win situation! It is made of recycled paper so it is eco friendly and the infused catnip is grown without insecticides so I feel good knowing our cat is happy and safe. Because it is made of corrugated cardboard it can become a bit messy at times with our cat happily scratching but this is easily solved by vacuuming the area. I highly recommend this cat scratcher. We have one very happy cat!

Durable kitty scratcher

It took a bit for them to understand to scratch the post so the catnip can be released from the material but eventually they did it. Love that you can have different positions on laying the scratcher down. Sometimes they just like lounging on it which is always fun to watch.

My Boys Love This Scratcher!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly didn’t put too much thought into getting this scratcher. I generally keep scratchers around, placed strategically to encourage no interest in my furniture. But my three male cats love this thing! My horizontal scratcher stands at the top of the bend and scratches downward and my two vertical scratchers stand at the bottom and scratch forward. These two use it to hide under to play with each other as well. I’ll always keep a couple Scratch Ladders around from now on, they love it so much!

Instant Cat Happiness
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as a removed the wrapper and set it on the floor next to the wall, my cats instantly went to SmartyKat Scratch Ladder. All through the night, they would take turns scratching their claws on it. My cats are very happy with SmartyKat!
