submitted byLiliana - 4 years agoA: Sima is designed to be used on somewhat flat surfaces. It is not for use on the nose, lips and eyelids. Sima can be used on the eyebrows but only the upper portion above or the flat area just under the brow, just not down onto the lid. You can also use on all other areas of the face and neck. It should be used in the direction of the hair growth.

I wish I hadn’t waited so long to try this! Like others, I believed the myths that dermaplaning would make hair grow back darker, thicker, or longer. It doesn’t! I was also afraid I would cut myself with sharp blades. I love that this one has guards to keep you from cutting yourself. I didn’t get a nick, scrape, or cut at all! Just be sure to use the proper angle. I also have pretty bad rosacea and sensitive skin, but this didn’t irritate my skin at all. I think it actually helped because skincare products and topical medications are better absorbed now with all the fine hair and dead skin removed! I LOVE IT!

Sima is truly amazing! It is super easy to use. It is not true that doing derma-planing will cause the hair to regrow stubbly. I had quite a bit of blonde hair on the side of my face and chin and this system makes it super smooth. It took less than five minutes. The only thing I’m sorry about is that I didn’t do this years ago.

I absolutely loved this tool! The price for 13 uses is a steal. I stopped using my tretonin for about a week to avoid skin irritation- I had so much dead skin lifted off my face! A soft glowing skin was revealed after I washed and moisturized.

I thought maybe I need to change the blade? But this is brand new. Why would I need to change the blade? Then I tried to change the blade and it is hard to do. . so I thought I am just done with this product. I’m sending it back. It just did not work for me.

The first use it worked great, I was super excited. Went to use it again, wouldn’t turn on so I charged it. Didn’t get a chance to use it right away but a few days later it was dead again. Charged it, went to use it and even with a fresh blade it was not taking off any unwanted hair like the first blade. I didn’t even bother with another blade. It’s garbage

I am shocked at how well this works. I am used to getting dermaplaning with my microdermabrasion treatments and it’s like an extra $25 add on. I tried this on myself and my skin is just as smooth as when my Estician does it and it got rid of all the peach fuzz! After I was done I applied hyaluronic serum. I’m so happy that basically for what I was paying for one treatment I have many weeks of treatments I can easily do. I was worried I would cut myself but I did not with this device. The sonic works well and I will get my angling better with time. Highly recommend this device!
