The Spenco Ground Control Low Arch Shoe Insoles were designed to reduce excess material around the heel to smooth out your foot-strike. With updated learning on the mechanics of the foot, Ground Control seeks to work with the foot, not against it. The neutrally positioned center-of-pressure design centers the foot and reduces pronation forces. Features: Perforated EVA body. Nylon arch support. Polymer forefoot pad for energy return. Great inserts
I love running but have flat feet. I developed plantar fasciitis and my doctor recommended this product. After about 2 weeks returning to running my feet feel better than ever. Totally recommend.

The best
I'm a long distance runner. I've always used over the counter insoles to support my overpronating feet. My previous insoles had firm plastic heel counters and I developed severe heel pain and plantar fasciitis. I tried numerous insoles with different arch heights. All of those insoles used firm plastic from the ball of the foot to the heel. In my search, I stumbled upon these and became intrigued with the decoupled heel. After using these for 2 weeks, my symptoms declined significantly and I was able to resume running. I'll be a customer for life so long as Spenco continues to make these!

Well made
The hard plastic arch inside, bottom corner, hit the bottom of my heel in the wrong spot creating pain and flaring up my old planters facitis. They look well made, and although I've worn the original polysorb inserts for years, these didn't work for me. Maybe the arch wasn't high enough. But the heel was also to wide for my Wave Riders running shoes and it lifted me to high from inside my shoe.
