this is the worst can opener i've ever used. wouldn't cut consistently, shredded the can, at one point i even tried using it left handed in case maybe that would help (it didn't). you couldn't pay me to use it again.

worst can opener ever. mangled the can, did not open it, sharp pieces everywhere. i asked for another can opener and this was subbed and I hate it with a hot hatred.

Loved it so much at first, worked great! But it quickly stopped working, only lasted a short time.

Got rusty super fast. Looks pretty, but couldn’t even open a single can all the way.

Super dull and hard to use!

This is sharp! Cuts right through cans. I’ve been dealing with an old standard can opener that barely cuts, and one of those fancy ones that removes the lid without cutting. This thing is heaven sent. It feels slightly heavy and well made, and looks nice, and is easy to use. My 5yo cut himself playing with it (not a deep cut), so watch out. Seems sturdy but I haven’t had it long. A good price at $10. Don’t overthink the can opener purchase like I did!

Loved that it was a cute fashionable color. Figment usually has decent quality items. This thing lasted only a few months before it died; doesn't grip, doesn't turn, doesn't cut. Don't waste your money, poor quality, poor construction.

The worse can opener I’ve ever owned. Tried twice using it and it crinkles the can and doesn’t cut very well or at all

This review is longgg overdue as I bought this can opener a while ago but it frustrated me enough today to finally post this. It’s actually the worst can opener in the world and is unsafe to use! Every can I’ve opened with it ends up with little pieces of paper from the label everywhere, it doesn’t open the lid evenly and leaves sharp shards of metal from the lid protruding from the rim of the can, after I have to use a kitchen utensil to actually pry the lid off :/ I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I feel upset that this can opener can’t do it’s one job. That’s it, bye!

Love the sleek deign!

The design of this can opener is great. It has large sized handles that fit well for me. Bottle opener built in so there’s one less item in my drawer. Slices through cans very easily. The one major draw back is the materials. The teeth/gear behind the cutting edge, the piece that makes it rotate, is extremely rust prone. I used the opener, gave it a quick rinse and patted it dry with a paper towel. Next day that piece was orange/red. Soaked it in vinegar and scrubbed off the rust. This time I dried it by holding it over the burner. Next day? Rusted over again. Very disappointed.

Looks like it would work but it sure doesn’t. You are best off with a cheaper can opener. Struggled each time to open anything.

Thing broke after four cans

Considering this can opener cannot cut through a tin can… it’s pretty useless.

It barely worked. I returned it for the exact item, thinking the first one was defective... the second one worked the exact same. Crap. Didn't catch the can, couldn't twist the knob to get it off.

It's not a functional can opener it worked great the first time after that it stopped working, not worth buying so please don't buy

Aesthetically this is beautiful but when trying to actually open cans, it often slips. We end up having to turn the handle over and over until it finally catches.

The hold on the cam slips, so the can opener chews at the label and has to re-grip the edge of the can. It works...i guess
