Very inefficient water heater. Yes the cast iron feel is nice but it takes twice as long to heat than our previous tea kettle. The volume of water it heats is also limiting. If you are a true drinker this product is not what you want. Wish I never bought it.

Gorgeous teapot. Heats quickly and holds the heat longer than the one I previously owned. Use to brew tea, heat water for French Coffee Press, hold soup, broth, and gravy to temperature. Received this for Mother's Day and looks as good as they day I took it out of the box. Stays nice and shiny and the color is magnificent!

I fell in love with this kettle the minute I saw it. It was one of my first Staub purchases. The simple straightforward design, the heavy cast iron is just like the Japanese kettles I grew up with. The stroke of genius for how we drink tea this days is the stainless steel tea strainer ball that attaches to the lid. I love clever ideas when they are indeed clever and not frivolous.

This is the cutest tea kettle I have ever owned. The lid and the handle ar so practical and the look is eye catching. Cast iron keeps the water hot long after you remove from the heat.

Yes perfect for tea but our family uses it for sauces, we seem to use a a lot of sauce! The black matte interior has amazing heat capability and keeps anything hot through a dinner. Believe in it or not this tea kettle is dishwasher safe - but I would never put it in there.

Heavy duty tea pot made from cast iron, will last a lifetime. Beautiful glossy, rich color that looks stunning sitting on the stove in between uses. I mostly heat water, which heats quickly and stays hot, but also use to make hot cocoa and ciders. Often times, the water is still hot when you are ready to pour your 2nd cup of tea!

This heavy duty grenadine tea kettle certainly keeps boiled water very hot. The cast iron ideally retains heat so no need to reheat the kettle when going back for a second cup of tea. The handles make for an easy lift and hold but do get hot so make sure to use your oven mitts.

I just recevied this sweet kettle as a gift from my husband. It's just beautiful and I've cleaned it, filled it, and heated it up (which took very little time to bring to a boil). I wish there was more information on how to use it....like am I supposed to slowly bring the water up to a boil or can I bring this up to a boil quickly?

The enamel finish doesn’t hold up well to heat, as our kettle developed what appeared to be a heat-related defect in the finish. The kettle still performs as intended, but the finish is damaged.
