Q: Can this headset also be used with the PlayStation Portal?
A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 Wireless Gaming Headset for PlayStation 5: Multi-Platform USB-C Connection. Direct Wireless (2.4GHz dongle): No. The Portal's USB-C port isn't compatible for this. Bluetooth: No. The Portal doesn't support standard Bluetooth audio for headsets. Wired (3.5mm cable): Yes, for audio output. The microphone on the headset will likely not work, as the Portal will use its built-in mic. Indirect Wireless (via PS5): Yes, if you keep the dongle connected to your PS5. This is the best way to get full wireless functionality and mic use. If you want truly wireless audio directly from the PlayStation Portal with microphone support, you'll need a headset that uses Sony's PlayStation Link technology, such as the Pulse Elite or Pulse Explore.
