Direct Wireless (2.4GHz dongle): No. The Portal's USB-C port isn't compatible for this. Bluetooth: No. The Portal doesn't support standard Bluetooth audio for headsets. Wired (3.5mm cable): Yes, for audio output. The microphone on the headset will likely not work, as the Portal will use its built-in mic. Indirect Wireless (via PS5): Yes, if you keep the dongle connected to your PS5. This is the best way to get full wireless functionality and mic use. If you want truly wireless audio directly from the PlayStation Portal with microphone support, you'll need a headset that uses Sony's PlayStation Link technology, such as the Pulse Elite or Pulse Explore. I pursued this option from you guys after returning the GameBuds. This is my 4th headset from you, my headset I leave at work is the Destiny 2: Lightfall edition and this headset is shockingly light compared even to that one, I'd wager its about half the weight which is impressive. The only drawback on this headset at all is the features, though correctly detailed on the website I didn't think I'd find frustration as quick as I did with them. The headset having a scroll wheel to modify how much you hear yourself in lieu of a scroll wheel to modify how much you hear chat verses game audio, I wasn't prepared for how much that would annoy me. It's a quality of life item I've gotten too used to on the other headsets. I think if this headset had that it would be the perfect console gaming headset.

I got to use this headset for probably a month or 2 before it wouldn't connect to the USB anymore. I definitely wouldn't buy this brand ever again. Quality of product is horrible

I’d like to sue this company for pain and suffering. My husband has had an awful rash on his ears, when trying to figure out what it was we saw multiple claims of these headsets causing allergic reactions and rashes and cover the ears down to the neck. Awful product, not sure what kind of materials are used but they are toxic.

I've been using this headset for over a month and my favorite feature is that it will work across platforms! From my computer to my ps4 to my samsung phone! This makes it easier to switch between by just moving the usb-c dongle to the device you want to use or using bluetooth. Another positive is it can charge with same cord (usb-c) as my phone which eliminates cords when traveling. I love that the earmuffs fold flat for storage security. Additionally am a fan of the mic which you can turn up if you want to hear yourself since they are fairly soundproof. If you're in market for a headset I strongly urge you to consider these. Steelseries is a phenomenal company with superb products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only complaint about these headphones is that the dongle is one of the more awkwardly shaped dongles I've ever had, and if I try to use it on my laptop it blocks other ports. Otherwise, this has been a great headset and is now replacing a previous headset that started to malfunction. I love that the mike is fully retractable.

The headband is pretty large, but at the top is a band to size it down if needed. I like that it was fairly easy to connect to media Bluetooth, usb and jack with no issues.
